FirstBarkErin is wonderful at training dogs (and humans!!!). She helped us with two rescue dogs, one of whom was highly anxious and triggered, and the other who was very fearful. Both dogs loved her, and the training tools she gave us were invaluable. Highly recommend!!

We started working with Erin a month after we adopted our puppy and she has been amazing over the past 2.5 months! She is empathetic and her training methods are based on research, science and her own experience. Our puppy is learning so fast with Erin and her techniques. I love that Erin works with us just as much as our puppy so that we can successfully practice between sessions. Our puppy loves her and we are always excited on training days. I would recommend Erin to everyone who wants a trainer who is really good at what she does, kind, patient, respectful and clearly knows and loves dogs of all breeds and ages.

Shortly after adopting our dog Minnie Pearl, we realized that we needed help with some of her erratic behavior. Erin was recommended to us through HoBo Rescue. She is positive reinforcement only, obviously loves dogs, and is just a genuinely sweet person. Over the past 10 months, she has helped us immensely with teaching our dog commands and useful techniques to calm her excitable nature. Minnie Pearl loves it when Erin comes over to the house for a training session because that means she will get treats! We typically scheduled a session for every 2 or 3 weeks and in the meantime gave Erin feedback on how Minnie Pearl was doing and what we needed to work on. Erin would come up with a game plan for training and then afterwards, she would give us a typed report with helpful tips and reminders going forward. We highly recommend Erin and Perfect Pals Dog Training if you need an effective, affordable dog trainer.
Erin is amazing - a true dog whisperer. We have two pups and she was able to give us all the training we needed to set them up for success! Erin is effective, consistent, reliable and a pleasure! She will always be our go to when referring a dog trainer.
