I HIGHLY recommend Peace &Unity!!! This is a all around 5 STAR service. Chelsea is the dog whisper. She is very professional, knowledgeable and skilled at what she does. She starts with making you know your pup is being loved and cared for. She gave me videos links to watch and material to read. Everyday sent videos of my pup catered to his needs, and she figured out his corks pretty quick. Chelsea gave me the tools and knowledge to keep my dog balanced with manners. I had so much fun working with Chelsea getting tips, and seeing how she does it. The very first thing I noticed is my dogs stance changed, he looks so proud and confident. We had fun testing out his perfect recall with a hike through the woods. Life is 💯 better!! Her and her husband will definitely see Gwak in the future for boarding services. As im sure Gwak will miss them

We first contacted Peace & Unity Pet Services (PUPS) when we needed ongoing training for our 18-month-old German Shepherd Dog (GSD) — and for ourselves. Chelsea and Phelan took the time to meet with us to understand where we were in our training journey and where we wanted to be. While we waited for our board-and-train spot, we met with PUPS regularly for training sessions both at home and in public settings to address immediate needs. This included walking calmly in public, polite door greetings, and setting clear, consistent expectations for our new GSD. Throughout the process, Chelsea and Phelan were always quick to answer our questions and explain why certain approaches work, which made a huge difference for us. The amount of knowledge I gained from working with Chelsea and Phelan is immeasurable. They are approachable, understanding, compassionate, incredibly knowledgeable, and true advocates for the dogs they train. After our GSD completed her board and train, friends and family could not believe how calm and well-adjusted she was. They helped her find a healthy mindset and, just as importantly, taught us how to carry her progress forward at home. Our GSD has developed such a strong bond with Chelsea and Phelan; she is always happy to return for boarding. I am so thankful we found PUPS and highly recommend their services to anyone searching for professional, compassionate dog training. Struggling with a new pup can feel isolating, but Chelsea and Phelan help you and your dog confidently get back out into the world.

We are so thankful for Chelsea at PUPS for helping us with our rescue dog have a more enriched life by helping her and us with the tools that is needed to do so. I was too fearful to bring her on walks not knowing how she would react to people or other dogs, and i did not know how to calm her high energy when guests came to our home. I am now confident with taking her on a walk and we have a much calmer, less chaotic time when guests arrive. Chelsea sent us detailed updates daily, along with pictures and videos. I am beyond grateful for Chelsea and PUPS !! I am so , so happy with the outcome.

Our experience with Peace and Unity Pet Services was nothing short of lifesaving. Our pup, Marlo, was extremely anxious, reactive to strangers, and exhibited some dangerous biting behavior. We felt truly hopeless that we’d ever be able to figure out how to help him, after trying several other avenues, we spent months “trapped” in our home, no longer able to have guests over or go on adventures. Chelsea and Phelan changed Marlo’s life. He spent 4 weeks with them, and emerged a different dog. He no longer reacts to strangers in public, he follows commands, he walks calmly without incident, we can bring people into our home, and most importantly he is a much calmer and happier dog. His humans also received plenty of training too, Chelsea was patient with us as we learned how to be better leaders, and how to implement and maintain all of our new skills. They continue to be a resource for all of our questions as life happens. Marlo also came home with other life skills; basic commands, obedience, grooming and vet visit skills. Our lives are immeasurably better because of our investment in PUPS.

Chelsea and Phelan have been taking care of our dogs for at least 10 years and they are the absolute best. They began with our Newfoundland/Saint Bernard and they were not at all worried about his immense size. When we came home from a trip he would look around for them! He felt loved and cared for, it was just so obvious. When we lost him, and eventually welcomed our new Husky/Newfoundland in, they were incredibly supportive. This puppy had some serious energy and we knew right away to introduce him to PUPS! He started there at about 6 months and it was so amazing…. They were able to reach him and help him calm his nerves down. Two weeks later we took home a greatly refined puppy. Since then he has gone back to PUPS for some refreshers and some boarding and it is always such a relief to know he is so well loved with them. He has A LOT of energy and really LOVES the treadmill now too. So while we walk him outside a lot, it is great that we can meet his exercise needs inside too. We have learned so much about how he thinks and why he sometimes responds like he does. The knowledge, care and expertise C & P have is just incredible. They offer videos to help with issues and it is just so unbelievable how he responds to them. They are part of our “family” now. 🐾❤️🐾 - OH, and we have had friends introduce their new puppies to PUPS and they feel the same. I just hope they don’t get too busy to fit us in! :) If you are on the fence about training your dog with PUPS, I seriously think it is the kindest thing you can do for them and for you and know you won’t regret it.
