Pawsonal Training

We can’t thank Shannon and Pawsonal Training enough! We brought our dog Apollo to them for the 3-week reactivity board and train program, and it’s been night and day for us. We’ve officially had him back from training for 2-weeks now, and it’s like we have a different dog. Shannon is incredibly knowledgeable, and she’s given us so much help and guidance (even in the 2-weeks with him home with us) with Apollo’s triggers, behavior, and overall stubbornness. Before training, if Apollo got excited or anxious, it was difficult to get him to calm down and relax, and now, it’s so much easier (and becoming even easier with time) to manage his outbursts of excitement and anxiety. Additionally, pre-training Apollo was difficult, at times, to take on walks in crowded/busy places, but it’s gotten so much easier already. This was an awesome experience, and we’d definitely recommend her for anyone looking for dog training! * 6-month Update It’s been 6-months since Apollo went to training, and I’m amazed all of the time at how big of a difference it’s made. We can confidently go to spaces knowing Apollo can focus (or refocus) on us rather than everything going on around him. Recently, we went to a park where there were off-leash dogs, screaming kids, and a lot of people running around; and he remained focused on me and neutral through it all. I can’t recommend Pawsonal Training enough!

Shannon was amazing with both Anubis (dog) and myself. She explained everything with great detail and answered every single question I had. I took I while to write this review after Anubis was done with the training, because I actually wanted to see if it would work. He is still doing amazing! He’s retaining everything great! He’s stubborn of course, but he’s a German shepherd, so I don’t think that’s gonna change much. However, I appreciate Shannon so very much and would definitely work with her again!!

I sent my Aussie Doodle to Shannon for a 3-week board and train, and I could not be happier with the results! From the beginning, Shannon was professional, kind, and truly invested in helping my dog succeed. She took the time to understand his personality and needs, and it really shows in the progress he’s made. Not only is he better with commands and manners, but he also came home more confident and calm. Shannon kept me updated throughout the training, which gave me peace of mind knowing he was in such great hands. At the end of the board and train, Shannon spent a few hours preparing me on how to continue working with my dog at home. I am so grateful for the hard work, patience, and care Shannon put into working with my pup. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trainer who is both skilled and compassionate. She truly did an amazing job!
