Pawsonal Training

We couldn’t be happier with Bo’s training experience! Bo is our yellow Lab, and he started day training with Alesha at just 16 weeks old. He is now 7 months old, and the difference in his behavior, confidence, and obedience has been amazing. Bo has learned so much in such a short amount of time, and we’ve been incredibly pleased with his progress. The training has given him such a great foundation, and it has also helped us better understand how to work with him and reinforce everything he’s learned at home. We will eventually have him enrolled in the therapy dog program at Pawsonal. It’s been so rewarding watching Bo grow from a young, energetic puppy into a well-mannered and responsive dog. We are extremely happy with the training and would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, patient, and effective dog trainer. Thank you for helping Bo become such a great boy!

Bingo went to a 4 week board and train with Shannon. Bingo has always been an anxious guy since we rescued him from the shelter. He hated new people, was super dog reactive and would bark at just about anything. We had to do his haircuts at home since he was so anxious even with meds the groomer couldn’t finish. Bingo would bark and cry the entire time he was in the car if we ver had to go somewhere with him. He would do the same if we ever tried to put him in his crate. While bingo was gone we got updates throughout the week showing us his progress and what to do when he came home. Shannon went over everything in person with me too to make sure I knew exactly what to do. Bingo could have used another week of training because of just how anxious he was before but we felt confident that we had the skills to keep working with him after the 4 weeks. We can put him in the crate if we need to, we can go on walks without him freaking out at every dog or truck he sees. I can put him in the car and take him to the park. He doesn’t spend all day looking out the window barking. Shannon even set us up with a groomer that will work with him! It’s not a whole ordeal to have people come over anymore. It has been such a quality of life improvement not just for us but for Bingo too. I can tell he is way more relaxed and not constantly on edge anymore. It was worth every penny and I am eternally grateful to Shannon

So grateful for Alesha at Pawsonal Training! She worked with our puppy, Quinn in their Day Training program. Quinn went twice a week and spent the day learning basic commands : name recognition, sit, down, come. She also learned staying in place and heeling in public. I love being able to walk with her in our neighborhood - passing people, dogs, bikes, etc and she behaves beautifully! Also, due to her e-collar training she behaves off-leash in our yard and family property up north. Alesha followed up each day with training videos of Quinn which were extremely helpful in working with her at home. Such a wonderful investment to make in a life-long part of our family! Shannon is amazing! My dog is a very high energy, rambunctious boy. I could neverrrrr imagine walking him on a leash without him pulling and burning my hands, and with moving in with my elderly grandma I knew he needed some help knowing how to contain his body a bit more. it’s like night and day! He’s still my happy go lucky guy but I can see him actively thinking through his actions and how much he truly loves being a good listening boy. I highly recommend Shannon! This was the best experience and I am so pleased 😄
