Pawsome University

Jaime and John from Pawsome University are very skilled and knowledgeable about everything dog!! They really understand dog behavior and can easily translate their training skills and advice to anyone, making training your dog a much more enjoyable experience for you and your dog. They always have the animals wellbeing at the forefront of their training. They also dedicate so much of their time helping and guiding shelter/animal rescue volunteers and employees which enables the shelter dogs to learn while in a stressful environment.

Jamie, her husband and their entire crew are awesome! She trained our loving Harper! Harper is now 3 and knows all of the cues that Jamie taught her. Jamie and John are such a great pair! Thank you for all that you do for me and all of our fur babies! We have 3 rescues and they love them just as much as we do. And we also use pawsome walks and each and everyone one that come to our home loves our pups and treats them like one of their own

One of my biggest fears, Moving To, a farm, was how my dogs would not only react to having all the space to run, but also having to handle goats, chicken, ducks, peacocks, and whatever other animals, we happen to bring around. At first, there was some anxiety that my dog was dealing with in these new situations, however, we found Pawsome University, a local farm and dog trainer to help us. It was a huge adjustment, asking my elderly dog to go from a smaller house with a small yard to all the space, and all, animals, and triggers. Jaimee worked with her with such compassion, he signed the route of some issues she was having since moved, and took the time to be a resource for us as we Adjusted to life on the farm together as a whole family, two legged and four-legged alike. Knowing that we have elderly dogs this hard, but we was out of doubt, be working with Pawsome University for any future hurry family members we add to our crew down the road, and recommend them to family and friends.

Finally, training, you could feel good about. I remember in the past every time I had a trainer come out to my dog, I ended up getting teary-eyed because I felt like they were in pain or being hurt when they were correcting them. My experience with Jaimee and John was completely Different, and it was training that I could actually be comfortable with, and could involve my children with without fear that they would become abusive dog owners. I will say, it doesn’t work, if you don’t, and many people are not willing to put the work in , but Jaimee and John took the time not to teach us how to handle the rescue that we adopted, but also to our children how to handle her as well. This is a lesson that will improve my children’s relationship with animals not only now, but for a lifetime. The relationship that they have fostered with their dog, as well as other friend and family dogs that they are around. It’s priceless. I am so grateful that we found possible in the university, and that my children never learned. It was OK to hurt a dog to get it to do what you wanted it to. Highly recommend!!!
