We had such a great experience with Pawsome Pups Dog Training and Bridget. Our 9-month-old Golden Retriever, Josie, had hit a wall—she started regressing with her behavior and was suddenly becoming super fearful of things she used to be fine with. We were feeling pretty overwhelmed, but Bridget made a world of difference. Right from the start, she was so responsive to every question we had (and we had a lot!). Instead of just "fixing" the dog, she really took the time to teach us how to be better pet parents. She made us so much more confident in how we interact with Josie and how to teach her what she needs. I brought my 18-month-old German Shepherd to Pawsome and Bridget yo get some private training lessons. My German's initial upbringing was in a stable until she is 6 months old and as a result she needed the socialization and understanding of basic commands. I had previously sent my GSD to two other forms of training; one was a group training session in which my GSD was scheduled to stay for 2 weeks but fell ill because their form of training (tasers and choke collars). The other training lesson went no further than basic training. Bridget at Pawsome was able to understand the repercussion of a lack of positive training and integrated that into my dog's private training lessons. In a matter of week, my dog became more attentive, understood commands and was obedient. Bridget stands behind her 21 plus certificates and nearly 30 years experience and it is evident in her training sessions. What's even more encouraging is how she also integrates the owner with the dog to understand the commands. No other dog training organization has done that before and I appreciate what Bridget has achieved.

I adopted my fur baby Cosmo when he was 12 weeks old. I hadn’t had a dog in almost 10 years and had only adopted adult dogs previously. I knew that I wanted him to have good training and was very excited when I found Bridget and Pawsome Pups was in my area. The fact that she’s a certified dog trainer who focuses on positive training was extremely important to me. Additionally reading about her work with Thomas on her website told me I’d found the right trainer. Cosmo absolutely loved training with Bridget, and he learned so much in just two weeks time. My coworkers and friends have all been amazed by how well behaved he is for a five month old puppy. I tell everyone that it’s due to his awesome training. I wanted Cosmo to have manners, but still be the goofy, silly puppy that he is, and that’s exactly what we achieved with this training. Additionally Bridget helped me teach him skills that will help him get groomed and treated at the vet safely. Making both experiences positive and less stressful for him and the people who help us. Second to adopting Cosmo, getting training with Pawsome Pups was the best decision I’ve made. It was an amazing investment in my relationship with my dog and his happiness, and absolutely worth every penny!
