We adopted our puppy, Rosie, from a local rescue back in April when she was around 4 months old. She was the sweetest puppy, but like most puppies, she came with plenty of typical puppy behaviors and absolutely no leash manners! 😅 Thankfully, that’s when I found Jack with Pawsitively K9 Services. My initial inquiry was answered the same business day, and after our phone consultation, I immediately felt confident that this guy really knows his stuff when it comes to dog training. Over the past 8–10 weeks, Rosie and I have made so much progress. Not only has Rosie learned so much, but I have gained a lot of confidence as a handler, and I truly feel like our bond has strengthened throughout the process. I was amazed at how quickly Rosie picked things up, and how quickly she adapted to training in public. Just a few weeks earlier to starting with Jack, that would have looked VERY different! Jack is patient, positive, and encouraging, but he is also straightforward and honest. He tells you what you need to hear, and I really appreciate that. He does a great job communicating not only what your dog needs to work on, but also what *you* need to work on as the handler. You can genuinely tell that Jack loves what he does, and his knowledge, confidence, and approach to training have made such a difference for us. We are so grateful we found him and would absolutely recommend Jack to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, patient, honest, and effective dog trainer. Rosie has come such a long way, and we couldn’t be happier with the progress we’ve made!

Our dog, Max, worked with Jack to pursue ATD certification to become a working therapy dog in elementary schools. Max showed immediate improvement after just the first lesson with Jack. He was able to teach me the correct way to work with Max. Our weekly lessons and homework made the the steps to the certification process a breeze, and he made me a more confident handler. I can’t thank Jack enough for his instruction, wisdom and knowledge, and encouragement throughout the process. I would recommend Jack to anyone who needs help with their pup or more confidence as an owner. He is truly outstanding!
