Pawsitive Reinforcement Pet Training

Heather helped us when our adult (11 year old) cat wasn't too happy about the two kittens (6 mo old brothers) we brought home. After two months of hissing and angst, we reached out. Heather was full of tips to help us identify trouble spots in our home and resources our cats needed, redirect negative energy, and get our cats on a schedule that helped the whole family settle down. With her help, in less than a month hissing incidents were almost completely gone and the cats were even bumping noses, sleeping in each others' beds, and playing together for short periods! It meant the world to us that our kittens don't need to be afraid of our adult cat, and that our adult cat isn't so stressed by the new arrivals. With another month of these tools, I think our household will be purrfectly content. :) I'm so glad Heather helped us identify ways to make all our cats happier - we've even gotten tips on how to redirect scratching from the carpet and furniture that worked! My girlfriend and I are not people who are good at yelling or being mad. It's just not in our nature. When we looked at reviews of Pawsitive Reinforcement, Heather's style of rewarding the good behaviors and making our interactions with Tux positive for both him and us just made sense. We would much rather shower our dog in treats and toys than yell at him to get him to change his behavior. Heather is now Tux's favorite person and she helped us with a number of his issues, some simple and others more complex. She is absolutely terrific and you can tell that she really cares about the animals she works with. Heather as a trainer was very reassuring and supportive towards us as pet parents, which gave us the confidence we needed to train our dog. Hire her. You will not regret it.
