Before we picked up our Husky puppy, Oxford, I asked his breeder if she recommended any dog trainers in my area. She suggested I reach out to Lori. After Ox came home I reached out to ask if we could start training as soon as possible. I also asked if we could upgrade his program from the Well Mannered to the Dream Dog program. It was the best decision and investment we have made for Ox and ourselves. Ox started training with Lori at 8 weeks and finished his training at around 7 months. He is 9 months now and is hands down a dream dog. Everyone we meet finds Ox's great behavior impressive. It was amazing to have a 4 month puppy walking next to me on a leash. Ox knows over 20 commands and is a such quick learner. This has allowed us to try and enjoy new activities with him. He runs next to us on and off the bike without pulling. When we go kayaking he lies down quietly and enjoys the scenery. We can take him anywhere knowing he will behave. We’re taking a few more classes to prepare him for the Canine Good Citizen Test so he can become a therapy dog .
I recommend Lori to anyone with a dog looking to build good behaviors or curb bad ones. You can tell she loves training and cares for every dog and their family. She’s very knowledgeable about dog training and made the entire process fun for us and Ox. Her knowledge is truly impressive! Lori is also patient and supportive. I had so many questions each week, some not related to training, and she gave us so much guidance.
Lori is one of the few people we would trust with Ox. She cares for him like he’s her own. Ox adores her and can’t help but let out some loud excited howls when he sees her!

I worked with Lori for five sessions to help train my puppy Wiley. He is very smart (read: very sneaky) and Lori really helped me understand how his mind works and what he needed from me in order to learn obedience. She also gave me invaluable tips for housetraining, crate training, and overall puppy well-being. She even got my older dog to learn a new trick. I can't recommend Lori enough!

We have a 75-pound rescue, Jack, who has a few bad habits. Lori has very gently trained us to help him. We are old and set in our ways, but her patience won out! And Jack is a better family member.
