Pawsitive Beginnings Dog Training

Our journey with Nova was new since we had not had a puppy in a long time. She was doing really well with us training her but there were a couple of things we were struggling with and needed someone who could helps us . She is a strong American Bully and was pulling a lot on her walks and she was also very reactive to birds and squirrels. Since Lateria’s sessions she has improved so much. We have a better connection with Nova and we are able to now enjoy our walks with her so much more! I would totally recommend Lateria. She was very calm but at the same time very effective! So happy we found her 😊

We had Lateria over for a home consultation within a few weeks of getting our puppy for potty, chewing, and eating issues. She was very accommodating with our schedule, professional, and had a calming essence about her. She also came prepared with lots of chew toy suggestions and informed us that our boy is an aggressive chewer which is why he demolishes toys and food so quickly. She had a white bone available for us to purchase and our puppy loves it! She also provided great suggestions and gave us a little confidence in how to handle yipping and jumping at feeding times. Within a day we saw a difference in him. We would definitely recommend this company for in home training and hope to use her again in the future!

We can’t say enough about how wonderful our experience was with Pawsitive Beginnings! Our dog Archer struggled with high-energy, reactivity, and pulling on walks. We worked with Lateria for a few in-home sessions before it was decided that a board-and-train program would be the best fit. We were nervous about sending Archer away for a month, but we had no reason to be! Lateria regularly kept us updated with texts, pictures, and videos, and really made us feel like part of Archer’s training even while he was away. When he returned home, Lateria helped us transition him and provided us with lots of skills to work on. We have seen a huge improvement in Archer’s ability to calm himself, channel his energy into positive outlets, and walk nicely on a leash. Equally importantly, Lateria give us the tools to train ourselves and build a more trusting relationship with Archer. Thank you!

I cried with relief after I spoke to Lateria. We have 2 dogs, both with anxiety shown in different ways; Thanos is shaky and scared of the wind… Raymond is nervous and aggressively barks/lunges at kids, adults and other dogs. Ray also ate everything in our home! Lateria came out to meet us ON EASTER!! She explained techniques to start with, allowing us to take control and be the leaders of the house. They both go for Pupcation this weekend and I’ve never been so relieved… leaving town was always SO stressful. I see a light at the end of the tunnel! I saw people mentioning that the consultation is $25. I run my own business as well and understand that time is money. Lateria collects all info needed so that she, you and your dog isn’t in danger at your first session. Well worth it. I’d highly recommend Pawsitive Beginnings!!!

I can not speak highly enough of Lateria with Pawsitive Beginnings. Due to her and her patience I was able to keep my family together. She helped train my two older dogs to respect space and boundaries when I had a newborn. Now my son and Bennett have the best relationship. I wish I could add a before and after video of how this dog used to walk on a lead. Before he would pull like a mad man and now my almost two year old can walk him with supervision
