Max and I love Lateria!! I had a very emotional experience at the end of last year as my pet sitter who I had for 3 years moved to a different part of Durham an quit servicing my area. So I had to scramble at the beginning of the year to find a new one. Lateria came to our rescue and saved the day! She is great with My Max! He is older and doesn't go for walks that much anymore, but we have a big back yard where he can play and run around. She is wonderful with him and I appreciate her promptness and the updates she provides me. She's a 10 in my book!!!

When it comes to my precious little fur baby Ares, I don't just trust anyone to take care of him in my absence. I'm fairly new to Raleigh-Durham and since I travel from time to time, I needed someone with whom I could trust Ares. I talked to quite a number of "pet sitters" but wasn't quite satisfied. That is, until I reached out to Pawsitive Beginnings Pet Care. The owner Lateria contacted me and ask for a meet and greet. I really appreciated this about Lateria because Ares is anxious in new environments and I typically have asked to meet and greet to get him comfortable. That she was proactive about this conveyed to me her sense of care and responsibility with animals to make sure everybody involved is comfortable with the arrangement. That gave me so much peace of mind. The joy came when I actually met her and Ares totally loved her! Anyone who knows anything about animals, knows that they respond to a person's disposition and the aura/energy about them. Well, Ares's reaction told me most of what I needed to know: that she knows animals and how to handle them. Animals know this and they love her back. I have seen it, not just with Ares, but with other dogs in her care as well. Since then, I have entrusted Ares's care to Lateria and I have been very pleased with the care she gives him and the service that is to me when I need it. At all times, Lateria has been every bit as professional, as she is caring and sensitive to dogs needs, and kind when I have needed to adjust the schedule - something else that's important to me. I feel so lucky to have found myself a nice retreat in Pawsitive Beginnings Pet Care for my little dog, whom I love dearly. Pawsitive Beginnings Pet Care has most certainly given me a positive beginning for all my dog's pet sitting care. Simply put, Pawsitive Beginnings is INCREDIBLE! The staff took our unruly, always-barking, and inattentive but loving little man and turned him into a way more calm listener. They not only train the pup, they trained our family on how to react and included our on discipline so that our whole family was happy with our new addition. We went from no idea of what to do to a family with a plan—AND IT WORKS! Pawsitive Beginnings is now a part of our family for sure!

Lateria helped us out at the last minute and was great with our dog. She was clear about what she needed and asked us all the right questions to get prepared to keep our pup for 6 days. She is incredibly sweet and sent lots of texts and video clips of our dog having a ton of fun and getting lots and lots of love. Our dog was relaxed and happy when we picked him up, which is almost never the case when we board him. He had such a great time!! We highly recommend Lateria’s services!
