Pawsitive Barb

Barbara has been a wonderful trainer and coach for me and my dog Ella. Ella is a service dog in training, and Barbara has provided guidance on the training process from when I first adopted her. She has particularly been helpful for us in our work on public access training. We are grateful for Barbara’s support, and would strongly recommend her to anyone who is considering working with their dog on service training.

Barbara is an incredible trainer. She has extensive experience working with dogs of all different backgrounds, including assistance dogs. When we first started, I had a 1.8 year old duck tolling retriever, and we really worked on getting him up to speed with tasks to aid with my daily function as well as ensuring his behavior in public was exemplary. She only uses positive reinforcement and is able to get her mind inside that special bond between you and your dog to create an environment where you are both successful. I thought YouTube videos would be enough for training but she really has such a depth and fund of knowledge that comes from years of experience that you likely can’t get from just reading a book or watching a few videos. She always made herself available for questions and critiques and was enthusiastic about training. Her passion for dogs (and cats!) really shows. My dog and I are such a stronger team because of her. I would recommend Barbara to anyone.

Barb is beyond a 5 STAR! Barb's expertise with our Corgi puppy was amazing! She gave us awesome advice before we brought her home. Barb began her training shortly after our Corgi arrived. Her professional help with our Corgi has made for a well behaved, lovable pet. Always available for a quick question or training session! We are happy to refer Barb as a wonderful passionate loving trainer! She will forever be our go to resource. JUDY
