I signed me dog up for obedience classes and was notified at the first class there would be a schedule change due to the instructor taking a vacation. She stated she wasnt 100% sure what day she switched the class to and would let us know. She announced after the first class that the final class and when the STAR Puppy certification would be held would be a week later. I informed her this no longer worked for my schedule due to a conflict and wouldn't have signed up knowing that was the case. She suggested I miss my prior obligation and come to her class instead, which wasn't feasible. She later canceled another class last minute and that pushed the schedule out 2 weeks into May. I knew before the classes started that those weeks in May would NOT work with my schedule and intentionally booked thinking the classes would wrap up my the end of April. I wrote the instructor and asked for a partial refund or even a credit towards a future class and she stated she doesn't do refunds after you attend the first class. I find this wildly unreasonable since the adjustments were all on her end, not mine. if the class occurred as scheduled, I would have completed all classes. I do not recommend taking Mindy's classes because she doesn't take any accountability for her business decisions.

I have been training with Mindy for most a year. We have taken Novice, Rally, and Foundations classes. Mindy is a great instructor and really wants her students to succeed. She has a lot of experience training her own dogs for obedience and has done well. Her classes are a full hour and she gives her students a lot of individual attention. I love the fact that she posts notes on line of the class you are taking. Mindy is not only a detail person, but she prepares for her classes each week. If you are just wanting to train your dog for manners or want to train for the show ring, Mindy is a great instructor.
