Paws To Train Your Dog

We are grateful to Troy for training our golden doodle. The difference in our doodle’s behavior after training is remarkable. Our year and half doodle had problems pulling when on leash and her attention was not focused. Troy took the time to work with us, helping us understand our dog’s behavior. Each training session built upon the prior weeks training, reinforcing desired behaviors. The lifetime support to help us if out dog regresses is a plus. Troy is dedicated in patiently helping us live harmoniously with our doodle.

Troy helped us understand why Brisket was behaving the way he was and what we could do to get him to a place of less fear, anxiety, and uncertainty. We adopted Brisket when he was 6. He was a good boy from day 1 but clearly had anxiety and was not socialized by his previous owner. As of today we’ve complete the 6-week training course with Troy, and by comparison we’ve noticed a big difference in his anxiety levels, trust in us, and ability to listen to our commands. Troy is a tough but fair teacher. This is the first time we went through a dog training course so we wanted to be corrected when we were doing anything wrong. Troy has no problem doing that, and we were grateful because we learned a lot. We still have a way to go with Brisket, but we feel we have the tools to be successful and for Brisket have a more worry-free life. Thanks Troy!

I adopted my dog Dibu about a year ago and from day one we noticed behavioral issues that had mounted to the point we had to consider rehoming him. Before going through with it we decided to try training with Troy at Paws To Train Your Dog. The results have been incredible so far and Dibu continues to improve every day. He not only is a much more obedient dog that is easier to walk and manage in general, but we have also noticed he is a much happier and less anxious dog now that he understands our expectations of him through repeated training and consistent rules. We are so happy we chose to train with Troy. Our dog, Benji, has been behaving way better than before the training. Some of the behaviors that we were seeing prior to the training were tugging during walks, barking and tugging at anything with wheels, vacuums, and people knocking at our door. Troy broke it down for us and was very patient since it was more me that needed the training than Benji. Lol. We did the 6 week training and it was well worth it! I highly recommend. Thank you Troy!
