Paws On Learning

I have never used a professional dog trainer before but after adopting a dog with some seperation anxiety issues and trying several things on our own that weren't really working, our veterinarian recommended Ashley. She has been so easy to work with from the start. She has been very flexible and accommodating with scheduling. I love that Ashley spends time after each training day with the owner teaching them what to do with their dog. I learned so much! And having her watch me and critique me was so helpful so I could learn the proper way to communicate and read my dog Bonnie. And Bonnie absolutely adored Ashley! I also think Ashley goes the extra mile by taking your dog around the island to public spaces and exposing them to lots of situations they may encounter. Bonnie learned so much in just the first 5 lessons and made tremendous progress. I can walk her now without having to worry about her trying to go after squirrels and cats. She's an absolute pleasure to take places and people often comment on her impeccable obedience. The training with Ashley is some of the best money we've spent and I would really like for Bonnie to complete the next 4 levels as well. When we adopted Bonnie, it was for life, hopefully at least 15 years and to have a well behaved companion over these years is so worth the investment. And as an added bonus, Ashley's personality is such that we ended chatting each day and I also feel like I've gained a friend as well. I cannot recommend Ashley highly enough!

We are so impressed with Our dog and his corrected behaviors since he went through a 5 day training with Ashley. He was not listening, out of control running and barking. Not crate trained and not lease trained. He has really learned to listen,obey and now wants please us. He likes to let us know that he understands what we want from him. His training with Ashley has made us happier to have him as part of our family. Thank you Ashley!!!
