Paws On Command

working with Josiah at Paws On Command was an experience that helped change not only my dogs life but mine! dealing with reactivity, and a financial budget, i didn’t know what to do, through a 6-Week program and 1 on 1 sessions i’m now at a point where i can take my dog into environments that i would’ve never even tried without Josiah’s help. I highly reccomend trusting Josiah with your dogs training needs!!!!!! very professional and he will do whatever he can for you and your dog!!

I sent my very hard-headed puppy to Josiah and was blown away with the progress they made together in such a short time. We went from surviving puppyhood to enjoying it, have travelled several states now and have received several compliments. At 5 months old, he is almost completely off leash, has great recall and sit/ down at a distance. Would recommend them to anyone looking for a kind, communicative, gentle trainer!

My two male labs went from being best friends to mortal enemies in what seemed to me at the time “in a blink of an eye”. I know I made 101 mistakes from not teaching them basic commands (I religiously did with my first 2 labs who passed of old age/cancer), not leash training despite walking them for 5 miles daily (me getting walked would be more accurate) giving them treats with no abandon, and encouraging bad behavior in ways I should’ve recognized but didn’t. I did everything wrong besides love them beyond repair. I gave Josiah two dogs who were an absolute mess. After 6 weeks, he brought back two labrabrothers who respond to commands, always heel when walking and individually are amazing! The work will be ongoing for me to get the confidence to feel comfortable exposing them to each other non-muzzle…but watching him with them and how they can be around each other when he’s around makes me know it’s not just possible, it’s probable. I went from terrified and defeated before Josiah took them in, to knowing for certain I am the last bit of the equation to be trained. I could not be happier.
