We had little faith anyone could help control our Great Dane pit bull mix! She’s a sassy broad to say the least. The kind of dog who knows a command but if she doesn’t feel like it will throw a fit… a horse sized fit… within a couple sessions Melissa was able to give our darling and us some real direction. She handled our bucking bronco with ease and gave us new insight, collars and videos. She was also accommodating to our every changing schedule… we were not able to complete the training due to unforeseen natural events that were entirely unrelated- but would jump on the chance to train again and would highly recommend to anyone in need of some guidance to overly large furr babies!

I contacted Melissa to help me with loose leash walking with my three-year-old springer spaniel. (When I walked him, he would bark and lunge at other dogs, cyclists, joggers and motorcycles.) My dog was walking with her, the length of my pasture, loose leash in hand! Melissa transferred those skills to me and with practice, we have reached our goal! I have a Golden who just turned a year. He is a big boy who came when he was called when he felt like it, counter surfed several times a day, and pulled on his leash, one time so bad he gave me a rope burn. When the neighbor said “your dog comes and visits every day” I had enough. I found Melissa online. She responded immediately and we set up 6 personal training sessions. I literally saw improvement in the first lesson. We had our 6th one today and my dog is 1000% better. He doesn’t pull on his leash, and he comes when I call him. We are still working on consistency, but I know her techniques work so now we just need practice.
