Paws Forward Training

While I haven’t personally used Paws Forward Training, I’ve followed Patrick’s work for some time and have been consistently impressed by his approach and professionalism. His passion for helping dogs and their owners build better relationships really shines through in everything he does. The testimonials and success stories speak volumes, and it’s clear he puts a lot of care into each case. If I ever need training in the future, Patrick at Paws Forward will be my first call. Working with Patrick at Paws Forward Training was an absolute game-changer for me and my German Shepherd, Loki. Before we started, Loki had the personality of a lovable freight train—sweet, but not exactly refined. Thanks to Patrick’s expertise, Loki’s obedience and leash manners improved dramatically, and his off-leash training? Chef’s kiss. What really stood out was how Patrick didn’t just train in a controlled environment—he took us out into the real world. Parks, beaches, busy streets—Loki learned to stay focused and responsive. The socialization aspect alone was priceless. Patrick’s calm, confident approach made the training feel simple and effective. More importantly, he cares about helping both dogs and their humans thrive together. Loki and I are better for it—and honestly, so is my sanity.

Ricco and I thank you for your time, instructions, patience and the care you exhibited towards the both of us during our two months of training. As a K9 trainer many moons ago it was a pleasure being taught new methods that are more pet friendly than what I was trained in, and at my age the point of least resistance is really important. I highly recommend any human who has a dog to get some type of training because there’s nothing worse than an untrained child and there’s nothing more gratifying than a well behaved friend.
