FirstBarkSunny and I just finished our Canine Good Citizen class and we passed. We made surprising progress from the first to last class thanks to Julie’s instruction and encouragement. The training system she teaches works well and is successful as long as you put in the time with your pup.

Julie is a knowledgeable and compassionate trainer. You can tell how passionate she is about providing training to enrich dog’s lives and their bonds with their humans. In class she takes the time to give individualized instruction to each team. She is always available for questions outside of class, and likes to keep in touch as her students grow, progress, and achieve success. She stayed a whole half hour after class to help give me tips on how to build a bond with my puppy so we could improve her focus. We see amazing progress in our girl’s life skills thanks to her guidance.
I have been taking private lessons with Julie for my Lab Puppy’s leash reactivity. We have been working with her for a couple months now and it has been amazing. She has helped in more ways than I could have imagined. So glad I called her for help. He is making huge progress!
We are in our second level of classes and very pleased. Julie is so knowledgeable and easy to learn from. My only complaint is my stubborn dogs performs great at home then when we get to class he seems to suddenly forget everything, but i know it's age. We are in our second level of classes and very pleased. Julie is so knowledgeable and easy to learn from. My only complaint is my stubborn dogs performs great at home then when we get to class he seems to suddenly forget everything, but i know it's age. I love watching him grow and learn his commands. Yesterday we walked with the leash on the ground (do not do till you've been trained) but we passed noises, distractions, squirrels, and dogs at a distance and even though my heart was racing, I know he had "stay with me" down and that felt great, in fact he carried his own lean with an attitude like i got this. Looking forward to the MANY more weeks of training, we are dedicated to go all the way through Canine Good Citizen!
Julie is a great trainer. Trains the owners along with the pets. We have learned a lot from her.
