Paws and Possibilities - Maryland

I left my 2 year old lab for a board and train (honestly because we were going on vacation and her reactivity kept me from feeling comfortable leaving her with a friend). This experience was amazing. I was given tons of videos every day to help me understand what was being done and what I would need to continue to do at home, and then when we picked up, we had a whole lesson about how to continue to make progress. We are continuning to make progress as we attend classes, but to be honest, the change has been awesome even without the additional training. She is much calmer and able to react to fewer of her original triggers.

We have had an absolutely terrific experience with Paws & Possibilities. First a shoutout to Kim's (owner) wonderful trainers who talked us through the options and what would work best for our dog over not one, but two free 30+ minute sessions. They were incredibly patient and willing to talk us through all of the options to help us determine what was the best course of action for our large, fearful 2 year old rescue. We ultimately decided on doing four 1:1 sessions with Kim Greco at her property in Annapolis, and we could not have been happier (these included instructional videos and tools which we can use at home). We had some previous direction from a behaviorist and advice from our dog's vet, but Kim really put the pieces together. Our dog is now so much more confident and relaxed when meeting strangers, his barking has significantly reduced, and walks are so much more pleasant for all of us. Before we worried about strangers approaching, but now we have the tools (both us and our dog) to make interactions positive. Kim really helped to train us as much as she helped with our dog, and improved all of our lives. We really feel that training with Kim was a wonderful investment for our family's future (we also have a baby) and will not hesitate to come back to her if needed. Also, while on the property we got to see other classes including puppy and leash walking classes with Kim's other trainers. Seeing those made us regret waiting as long as we did for formal training. If we ever rescue another dog, Paws & Possibilities will be our first stop. They really do everything to cater to your dogs unique needs and we cannot recommend them enough!

When we got our Tibetan Terrier puppy, I knew her personality would be perfect for pet therapy and I made the commitment to train with her. Paws and Possibilities has an amazing program to achieve this goal! Jovone and her team are not only trainers, they are also pet therapy dog handlers so they can share experiences to set us up for success. All skills are taught with positive reinforcement. It does take time and dedication but so worth it! The support doesn't stop after you are certified. They continue to walk with you on this journey. I highly recommend Paws and Possibilities for obedience, behavior issues, etc., too. Kim and the other trainers are wonderful.
