I can not recommend this shelter to anyone looking to adopt a pet. I put in several inquiries and applications for dogs and never heard a word back from them. Finally, I sent an email mail. No word yet, then a couple of days later I called and left a message. Finally find adopt a pet sent me an email asking me why I hadn't adopted yet. I told them because I haven't heard anything back from paws for life. Well last night I suddenly got an email stating only this..." Cinnamon will be at petco tomorrow from 9-1. We'll, 9f course i couldn't make it because I had to be at work. No notice, no planning, or anything. Im sorry, but I cannot be available at the drop of a hat. Like most people,I have to work for a living. And also let me add that i own my own home have a fenced in yard,and there is absolutely nothing that would have disqualified me for being a successful candidate for adopting this dog. I think these people are lazy and do not care about their animals or who they end up with. If they truly cared, then they would have the common courtesy to at least respond to someone who has taken the time to fill out an application plus. Extremely bad customer service and business ethics.
