Pawesome tails saved our dog’s life. James has been hiking with Pawesome tails 5 days a week for 2 years, since he was around 6 months old. Every morning at 11am, he sits at the door and waits patiently for them to arrive. In December 2024, our dog James developed bloating, an emergency in which the stomach rotates, fills with air, and blocks off blood supply to his organs. If this is not recognized immediately, the dog will die within a few hours. Pawesome tails recognized the symptoms of bloating during his daily hike, and they immediately took action. They took him to the ER, running a red light in the process (safely), and if they had delayed for even a half hour, James would have had severe injuries and would have likely died. The ER stabilized him and James went into surgery immediately. He made a full and complete recovery, and he wouldn’t be alive except for Pawesome tails, their training and attention.
