Without a doubt the best place in the country to board and train your dog. They truly give you back the dog you dreamed of having. You get back the same personality, but well behaved and trained. And Merissa shows you how to maintain the behavior once you get your dog back. My husband and I realized we really were the ones that needed training after our bi monthly lessons, lol. A huge plus is they are treated like one of the family and get to hang out in the house with them. We had taken Annie for training previously and did not get the results we were hoping for. With Paw and Hand K9 our hopes were exceeded 100%. All of the trainers there are top notch, embrace what they're doing, and give the dogs the love you do. So no worries that your pup will be lonely there. We got Annie to help my husband with PTSD he incurred in Vietnam. But she was so wild it added to his stress. My wife and I took our now 10 month old golden retriever for the 6 week freedom program. Let’s just say I’m pretty sure they gave us back someone else’s dog! He does everything he is told, and no longer takes food from our toddler’s hands. I love that we can go on walks and he stays by our side no matter what even if other dogs pass by. If you are looking for a place to send your dog, I highly recommend Paw & Hand. It gave us the piece of mind to know we can be out and not worry about him running off or doing things he shouldn’t, while attending to our toddler. Update Info: Jasper, my Bernedoodle puppy, graduated 6 weeks board training program. She was trained by the trainer, Rian in Paw and Hand K9. Jasper is now well behave puppy at my home as well as outside. We enjoy taking a walk every day. She does good heel walk most of the time. Also, when we come across with other people and doggies, she keeps calm and listens my command, "Leave it". She used to keep sniffing all the time when we walked. After Rian's training, she now looks at me during walking and no more sniffing the ground. I highly recommend Paw and Hand K9!!! The breeder of my puppy recommended Paw and Hand K9. I was a little hesitant because I’m located in Texas but after speaking with Merissa all my concerns and worries went away. I was able to see and talk to Coco’s trainer Charlee about her progress as well as watch her train Coco via zoom during her 8 weeks there. I could see that Coco was happy and learning all the skills she needed to be a super puppy. Charlee answered all of my questions via our zoom calls as well as e-mails and text messages. Charlee is an outstanding trainer and a wonderful person! Getting Coco home to Texas became a challenge because she grow faster than expected. But Charlee, Merissa and Kota all worked with me and provided guidance, patience and unbelievable support. Charlee and Merissa worked with me in scheduling Coco’s training sessions but Charlee’s patience working with me and answering all of our questions over the 2 day handoff was greatly appreciated. She made me feel comfortable and reinforced my confident in handling Coco. It took us over 33 hours to get back to Texas and Coco traveled like an old expert. Not sure how Charlee made that possible but I’m forever grateful! A BIG thank you to Charlee for everything she did for me and Coco!
