Pavlov Dog Training - Fort Collins

Chelsea is amazing and I highly recommend her for both private training and board and train! We have two dogs that recently finished a board and train program with her. Our older dog, Paulie, was a rescue and came with a lot of behavioral problems, we previously went through private training and a 4 week board and train with a different company, he was much better but still had many triggers. When we recently adopted our new pup, Mango, and some of Paulie's old bad habits started coming out again. We decided to enroll both of them at the same time for training. Chelsea was great from the start- she listened to all of our stories and concerns, took note of the biggest problems we've been facing and asked us questions about previous training, our lifestyles and general information about our house and other pets. While they were in training, Chelsea sent us multiple updates every week with pictures and personalized educational videos on how our pups were doing and teaching us how to maintain their new skills. When we went to pick them up we were shocked that they were politely waiting in their place, no barking at all, and Paulie (who has a history of wanting to chase every cat) was completely ignoring Chelsea's pet cats. We went on a walk with them and Mango, who liked to pretend she was a sled dog with how much she pulled, stayed in a perfect heel and Paulie, who still had some leash reactivity problems, let bikers and other dogs pass by without a glance. One of the best aspects of the board and train with Chelsea is the follow-up. We had a bunch of one on one training sessions in the following weeks after picking them up. There was an outline to how the training was introduced to us so we could reinforce it at home, but Chelsea also listened to all our questions and problems we had been facing and tailored things to us and our pups. We now have two beautifully behaved dogs and we can thank Chelsea for teaching them manners and teaching us how to maintain them!

Chelsea has been absolutely incredible starting our two puppies early training (5 now 6months) She is so kind but clear and firm with her directions, they now listen to their names and have lovely manners on leash. Her park it training has been a game changer for getting tasks done around the house without having to worry where they disappeared too and what they might be chewing. She was able to socialise them to other dogs and cats so they play nicely, which was so important to us as we live rurally but want to take them on adventures with us. Her training directions for us are always clear and easy to follow, it’s really has been a breeze, we could not recommend Chelsea more.

We adopted a 2year old mini schnauzer from our local shelter. He was pretty well trained but had a big problem with overreactivity with any dog he saw, which made it difficult to bring him with us around town. After trying for about a year to train him ourselves, we finally invested in real help. We found Pavlov online and scheduled the 3 week home-stay with Chelsea. We were SO nervous to leave our dog with someone we didn't really know for that long. And we are AMAZED by Chelsea's results. It's been 3 months since his home stay. Our pup ADORES Chelsea and is now only occasionally reactive with other dogs. He learned so many other good manners too. We would recommend Chelsea to anyone. She will treat your dog with love and treat you with respect. She's a great teacher for animals and people (even our kids learned from her). She even went out of her way to find an adaptive leash for me. Highly recommend. She's worth every penny and then some.
