Virginia at Pavlov Dog Training helped transform our newly rescued pit bull terrier/American bully mix, Lumen, into a functional member of society. Before training, Lumen struggled to maintain a calm state of mind, which contributed to disruptive behaviors both inside and outside our home. Virginia's video updates while Lumen was away were both educational and reassuring. Our previous dog had completed a different board-and-train program, so learning the new commands and adapting to a different approach with the e-collar took some adjustment. Virginia was patient, kind, and knowledgeable throughout the process, guiding us through each change and giving Lumen an excellent foundation for continued success. The pickup and handover lessons gave us ample time to practice, ask questions, and build confidence before bringing Lumen home. We highly recommend Virginia to anyone looking for a skilled trainer, especially bully breed owners. Her passion for these dogs is evident in both her training and the care she provides.

Juno was enrolled in the Board and Train Program with Logan as his trainer. He came back to me with manners and knowing so many helpful things that make owning a dog 10 times easier. Logan also did classes with me after and has been nothing but great to work with. She answers all my questions and is always willing to reply to my anxious dog mom texts! Excited for Juno and I to become more engrained in this community. We are doing group classes now and practicing what he's learned every day!

We had an excellent experience with our dog, Frannie, in the board and train program. Logan was Frannie’s trainer, and we couldn’t be happier with the results. From the beginning, Logan took the time to understand Frannie’s personality and tailored the training to her needs. The communication throughout the program was excellent, and we appreciated the regular updates and practical guidance on how to continue reinforcing everything at home. My family went on a 2.5-week trip and enrolled our recently-adopted puppy Maisie with trainer Quinn for a Board and Train at her house. I could tell instantly that Quinn has a way with dogs and just "gets" them. I felt completely at ease going out of the country while Maisie stayed with her. Quinn sent regular updates with pictures while we were gone, and by the time we came back, Maisie had gone from a totally wild thing with zero manners to a dog that heels, sits, parks it, comes, and plays well with others. Quinn was super flexible with the scheduling of our follow-up lessons and gave us amazing strategies to keep practicing. We just need to do our homework! One of the things I appreciate the most about her is her ability to translate doggy behavior for us in a super relatable and easy to understand way. We are grateful for the time Maisie had with her and for the knowledge we've gained. The entire process of booking the Book and Train with Pavlov was super easy and smooth as well. Highly recommend!
