Pavlov Dog Training - Denver

We started at Pavlov with our 10 week old puppy, Hank, for puppy socialization classes (which we loved)! Madalyn Aquino was always the instructor on Saturdays, and we really liked her approach and the way she interacted with Hank. We knew we wanted to do a board and train class at Pavlov when Hank got older, and we knew we wanted Madalyn as his trainer. We realized that there were many trainers at Pavlov that had strong ratings, but we really wanted her. We just finished our 3rd required follow-up class with Madalyn and plan to continue with group classes on Sundays! We are so grateful for Pavlov and especially for Madalyn! Our little Hank is a new guy (although still a wild 9 month old Goldendoodle at times)! Thank you Madalyn (and all the Pavlov crew), Diane M Grierson

Corin at Pavlov dog training completely saved our lives. Her board and train took us from feeling like we couldn’t live with our puppy to being able to enjoy our time with him. He’s still his same, goofy self, but our dynamic with him has completely changed. We can go places together, he can behave respectfully when we have guests over, and we can take him off leash hiking without the fear of him running off or engaging other dogs when it’s inappropriate to do so. I held off on booking because it was a lot of money to invest, but I’d spend it 3X over for Corin. She’s incredible, and it’s obvious how much she cares about the dogs that she trains. Truly an amazing person whose talent with dog intuition and communication really shows. If you’re on the fence- do it! I seriously can not recommend her enough. I don’t think I’d still be able to live at my place if I’d not found her… truly an angel. My dog is participating in his first dog show this weekend thanks to Corin. If someone had told me 6 months ago that he’d be able to show, I may have died laughing. When we first brought Fozzy to her house, he walked straight up to pee on her potted plants inside. I truly cannot say enough amazing things about Virginia and the Board & Train experience at Pavlov. The transformation in my 4-month-old Mini Aussie, Faye, has been absolutely incredible. She came home like a completely different dog in the best possible way; more confident, engaged, focused, calm, and clearly so well cared for and understood throughout the entire process. From day one, Virginia was beyond professional, communicative, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in both Faye and me. She took the time to carefully listen to everything we had been working on and tailored the training around Faye’s needs and personality. Throughout the stay, I constantly received thoughtful updates, videos, progress reports, and support, which made me feel completely involved and reassured the entire time. Honestly, Virginia’s work ethic and training environment are on another level. Everything was organized, intentional, professional, and filled with care. You can immediately tell this is not just a job to her, it’s truly a passion and talent. Watching Faye interact with Virginia and seeing the bond, trust, and respect they built absolutely melted my heart. I am beyond impressed with the results and beyond grateful for this experience. If you are considering a Board & Train program and are on the fence about it — don’t be. Just do it. It is worth every single penny and more. I recommend Pavlov, and especially Virginia, to absolutely everyone. This experience exceeded every expectation I had, and I genuinely do not have enough positive words to describe how thankful I am.

Quinn truly understands the importance of structured, thoughtful training, especially for a young Golden Retriever like Ruby, and what stands out most is how much she listens to my goals and shapes the training around what matters most to us. She treats Ruby like her own while also making sure I feel confident and fully equipped with the tools and understanding I need to continue her success at home. The board and train sessions are exactly what we need and are always grounded in real-life situations, so the training translates seamlessly into everyday life. I trust Ruby and her training completely and genuinely love the relationship and foundation Quinn has helped build for both of us—we are so grateful for everything she has done for Ruby and me in helping shape a happy, well-trained Golden.
