Pavlov Dog Training - Denver

Pavlov Dog Training exceeded my expectations. My 9-month-old reactive mini Bernedoodle puppy spent three weeks in training. The progress he made has been remarkable. One of our biggest goals was helping him settle down and stop jumping on people when they come into our home. I have seen tremendous improvement with this. He now understands all of the basic commands, and we are working on strengthening his recall from longer distances. Madalyn provided expert one-on-one instruction and took the time to understand both my puppy’s personality, his specific issues and training goals. She was knowledgeable, patient, and encouraging throughout the process. She equipped/trained me with the tools and confidence to continue reinforcing his behaviors both at home and outside on walks. A plus was the one-on-one sessions with Madalyn, myself and Wally that were once a week after I brought him home. I highly recommend the Pavlov Dog Training team to anyone looking for professional, effective training—especially for a reactive puppy. The investment has made a meaningful difference in both my dog’s behavior and our daily lives.

We had a great experience with Pavlov and our trainer Corrin. Our puppy was only 3.5 months when she went to get boarded and trained and in 10 days she learned the essentials that we needed (staying on her bed, not jumping on our kids, waiting until released, how to walk properly, etc.) Corrin also is very responsive and any questions I would have she would text me back in details on how to help, she was amazing! Highly recommend.

Virginia at Pavlov was great. She combined firm, consistent discipline with genuine care and compassion for our dog, fostering both learning and trust. This program is highly structured, and success requires owners to remain consistent, firm, and committed to reinforcing the training at home. Think of it as doggy boot camp. It was a strict and consistent training that delivered the results we were looking for. We are very happy with the progress our dog made.

Milo was enrolled in the three week Board & Train program at Pavlov and WOW -- what results! I toured half a dozen local boarders to find the right fit. At 9.5 years old, Milo had lived a mostly "only dog-child" life due to his dog reactivity and separation anxiety. Their facility felt more gentle and "like home" than any other one I toured, complete with couches and beautiful stained glass in the windows. I enjoyed getting YouTube video updates on Milo showing progress and could not believe how well he was doing! Our trainer Logan was super clear in passing Milo's training to me in our lessons. We're keeping up with at-home training and doing great! Something pretty special about Pavlov is the "Boarding with Benefits" program where I can take Milo back for regular and affordable boarding when I travel. Another unique offering compared to other options is Pavlov does small-group play every day! Truly, if I could give Logan and Pavlov 10 stars I would. I was a little skeptical my old guy would benefit but he is thriving, and I only wish I would have done this sooner. It was well worth the investment and I will do it again in for future dog companions. Thank you Logan and Pavlov!
