Patriot K Nine Training & Behavior

I am very satisfied with the work Amber has done with my 3y/o GSD Female named Rocket, who was very reactive to everything outside of her home environment. I’ve learned a lot about Rocket and myself. Today, after the 1 on1 training with Amber, along with training aids; Rocket is a completely different Dog. Amber told me in the initial consultation that she works to standard not to time. This review is well overdue. Sounds bad I know, but this is actually a good thing because March 24, 2024 is when my husband and I adopted our beautiful Rottweiler puppy, Filo. Knowing how great they are as family dogs...they can be stubborn so we enrolled her in the Green Dog Academy with Amber sometime in April 24'. She has been training with them ever since. Here we are in March 25' and still attend weekly Sat classes. The facility is great big awesome clean space inside for dogs to run and do training sessions which means training in comfort all year round. Patriot and my dog's favorite place to go to and knows exactly where we are when I pull up. All the trainers there have been loving and kind to my 100lb drool box. They even clipped her nails and practiced grooming so she wouldn't be menace to the groomers and vet offices. The vet even put in her file best Rottie ever. lol. There was even a time or two I have shown up with Filo and she just ran as I chatted up with the trainers. After the Green Dog Academy, we decided to keep on going to training and we went with the sessions. The training one on one sessions with Amber were amazing!!! Amber is literally my dog's second mother and she absolutely adores and loses her mind when she sees her. She has been my personal trainer since my dog has been a baby and a trainer for me because I overthink and complicate everything. Yep, the hand holding and constant reassurance that’s me! lol. Amber has been honest, patient and kind to me as well. She has given me homework assignments outside of training to further help supplement the sessions. Amber is one of the few people I’ve met that are extremely passionate about what they do. She puts in that work! She is extremely knowledgeable, very patient, and puts love in every single dog that comes her way. ---Longstory short..I recommend at least give them a call to stop by and talk to them. The crew are very receptive to any questions and concerns you may have with no sugarcoating. Tons of program options. It’s been almost a year since I started bring my drool box and I will be continuing to go as long as I have the availability to do so.

I brought my dog Rogue to Patriot K9 because of severe aggression toward both people and other dogs. She would fight over something as small as an ice cube and showed extreme aggression toward the trainer the moment we walked in. Fast forward to today, and she is a completely different dog—calm, relaxed, and able to be outside around people and other dogs with no issues at all. The transformation has been incredible! Coming to Patriot K9 was the best decision we ever made. A huge thank you to Tom, who played a major role in helping us through this journey. We are beyond grateful!
