Pat's Pack Dog Training

Pat was fantastic! Before we began training, our 3 year old dog was unruly and difficult to walk because she pulled so hard. After our 6 week session with Pat, we can finally enjoy walks with her. He taught us so much about dog behavior and communication! He was so patient during the learning process, and just an all around great person. We definitely plan to book our future training needs with Pat. :-)

I’ve had small dogs my whole life. When we adopted a delightful dog- who is 43% Belgian Malinnois- I knew I needed help. I didn’t know how to handle a dog so large in size but also a dog who needs intellectual stimulation to thrive. Patrick was awesome at helping us and our rescue dog integrate as a family. He went beyond the basics of trained walks and commands. It was also extremely helpful to have him come to our home to train specific needs, like don’t harass the chicken coop or bolt out of the gate. He was always professional, punctual and had a great demeanor with our dog. The latter was pivotal for our dog’s training because she was initially very reluctant to be around men. I highly recommend Patrick!

Pat is the BEST. Not only is he amazing at his job, but he's also just the most personable, kind, amazing person and I feel so lucky to have sent my puppy to him. I did the 3 week course and had spoken to a few friends since most people who send their dogs away, I feel, come back and weren't trained at all. But a friend raved about Pat and how amazing he was and after one phone call with him I understood why. He gave so many helpful tips and tricks before Bode was able to go over there to set him up for success. And I just picked bode up about a week ago and he's absolutely perfect. No need to look further you have found the best dog trainer out there !!!

Pat is awesome! My wife and I needed some help with our two year old rescue as we were a bit overwhelmed with training and boundary setting with our new pup, Bodhi! Pat not only was excellent at communicating with Bodhi but also with us and helping us develop the skills to get him better on the leash, more engaged with us, and get him tuned up on basic obedience! We knew we needed to get him socialized as soon as possible and Pat helped facilitate Bodhi make lots of dog friends during our 2-week board and train with him! This gave us confidence that Bodhi will be good around other dogs and Pat kept us up to date with videos and pictures the whole time he was away from our home! Really thankful for you, Pat, as you have helped us so much develop a better relationship with Bodhi in our home and when we take him with us on our adventures!

I booked a board and train for my 9 month old Plotthound Lab rescue, and in just our pre-board training session Pat was able to take my excitable distracted dog and strengthen my relationship with him by teaching me the correct ways to establish rules and boundaries on our walks so that I can enjoy walking my best buddy Marve, and give him the exercise and leadership he needs. Marve was very excited and distracted on walks beforehand and in a matter of minutes Pat was able to lead Marve to a perfect loose lead walk. Pat has also been excellent with checking in for updates and providing continued advice to handle other unwanted behaviors and how to properly and effectively communicate rules around the house and out and about. I am incredibly grateful for Pat’s help in both strengthening my relationship with Marve and would strongly recommend his services.
