Pat's Pack Dog Training

I honestly cannot say enough good things about our experience with Pat’s Pack Dog Training! Pat did an absolutely amazing job with our Doberman, Titus. From the very beginning, he was patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely cared about Titus—not just as a dog he was training, but as if he were his own. One of the biggest things we wanted help with was getting Titus to walk properly on a leash, and the difference after just one week is incredible! He taught him how to listen, follow commands, and walk without constantly pulling. It was honestly amazing to see how much progress Titus made in such a short amount of time. On top of the training, he took such great care of Titus throughout the entire week. Knowing that Titus was in good hands gave us so much peace of mind. You can tell he truly loves what he does and has a natural way of working with dogs. We are beyond happy with the results and would absolutely recommend Pat’s Pack Dog Training to anyone looking for a dog trainer. If you want someone who is patient, trustworthy, experienced, and truly cares about your dog, Pat is definitely the person to go to! We are so grateful for everything he did for Titus! 🐾❤️

As first-time dog owners, we really wanted to make sure our adopted puppy could integrate into our lives as seamlessly as possible. 🐾 Pat has been such an incredible resource whenever we have questions, and he’s been instrumental in training S’mores with instructions that are practical, doable, and not at all complicated—which makes it so much easier to continue the training at home. My husband is especially impressed by how knowledgeable and natural Pat is with dogs. He actually nicknamed him the Dog Whisperer. 😂 We’re so grateful for Pat’s Pack and the confidence they’ve given us as new dog owners. We truly cannot recommend Pat enough to anyone with a dog who could use a little guidance, whether you’re starting from scratch or working through something specific.

We originally purchased a 6 session in home training pack in January 2026 when we brought our 3-year old rescue Maltipoo (Maggie) home who had no manners and knew no commands. Pat worked with us on making our daily walks pleasurable & gave us the tools to teach Maggie her basic commands and how to interact positively with our resident 6-year old Papillon/Corgi mix. We will soon be entertaining guests at our home who will be bringing their dog for the weekend. We asked Pat to do a follow-up in-home visit in August 2026 to show us how to best integrate the pups upon meeting a larger/more energetic dog. He brought his dog (Millie) with him and gave us expert advice. It all went so well & we now feel completely confident & comfy with this upcoming visit. Pat is also just a really great guy. I cannot recommend Pat’s Pack enough! We sent our dog Franklin to a 3 week board and train with Pat and are so so thankful to him. I am pretty sure I have told everyone I know about how much he has saved my husband and I in our relationship with our dog. We found Pat after dealing with some extreme resource guarding attacks (he bit us multiple times and drew blood) and we were honestly at the end of our rope and seriously considering rehoming him. We were living in fear of him and it was a struggle to feel safe at home. Pat took him and did a board and train with him for 3 weeks and I could not have wished for a better transformation. Franklin received ecollar training, leash training, and exposure to a variety of other dogs. Pat even had me come to his home to work through the resource guarding attacks in a safe manner to help me build my confidence in managing Frank’s behavior. By the time Frank came back to us I felt confident in my ability to manage him, and he felt like a completely different dog. He listens to commands, heels on walks, and has not shown a single instance of aggression or resource guarding since his return. At the end of his camp Pat brought him to our home and showed me training exercises to use with him around the sources of his prior resource guarding, it was awesome! Such a confidence builder. In addition, Pat told us that he stands behind his training and if we ever felt like Frank (or us) had forgotten or slipped on our training he would be there to support us. Pat’s program is not only effective, but the behavior changes we have seen in Frank are long lasting. He is amazing and I highly recommend him to anyone dealing with difficult dog behaviors or just needed some support in basic training. He is the man!!!

We adopted our Dalmatian mix, Otto, from Mexico when he was about 3 months. By the age of 2, it seemed like most of our self-training for him wasn't working. He would jump on guests, pull really badly on the leash during walks, chase our cat or lizards outside, and get way too excited when he would see other dogs and bark. I found Pat through a mom's group post and I can say now that I am SO GLAD WE FOUND HIM! Otto spent 2 weeks with Pat and came back a changed dog- it was well worth the money and honestly, I felt the cost was very reasonable. Otto is now a pleasure to take on a walk. No more pulling and he actually walks behind us! He doesn't jump when we have guests over anymore and will go lay in his place when asked. He mostly ignores other dogs on walks and definitely doesn't bark anymore (the only thing we are still actively working on are his interactions with his "friends" on the leash when he gets excited to see them, but Pat has given us more advice on how to work on this). My absolute fav thing is that he and my cat are now besties that nap and eat together!! I never thought this would happen. So much less stress in our house. We now see people out walking with their very misbehaved dogs and always joke that we should send those dogs to see Pat. :) Thanks again, Pat!!
