FirstBarkAmazing trainer took my dog 3 years ago and have not regretted it ... Boarding is amazing and not a headache .. and I don't worry when he is there .... Very much recommended for training !!!

We took our dog Holly to the board and train program. Pat was great. He cares a lot about the dogs. His kennels have ac to keep the dogs comfortable in this az heat. He helped her overcome her bad manners at home counter surfing and jumping on people even showed her how to walk without a leash . We hands down would recommend him and his services!
We took our beautiful puppy Canelo to Pat's 2 week train and board program. After bringing him home from the program, we fell in love even more with our pup. We no longer worry about him taking off when letting him out front even when distracted. We enjoy our walks with no leash. Definitely recommend his program. Pat is quick to reply with any help that is needed.

We were never advised that the expectation of this “training” is that our dogs will be in e-collars during all waking hours so we can “correct” them. They taught the dogs to walk at a heel and to sit. Our dogs already knew how to sit and walking at a heel was not a priority for us. They did not address any of the problem behaviors, despite being advised that those would be addressed. On pickup when we asked about them, they just told us “oh just use the collars to buzz them for a correction.” We definitely could have ordered ecollars ourselves for less than $3000, that’s for sure. We don’t want our dogs living in ecollars and it is impractical to have 2 remotes in hand at all times for quick behavior corrections, which is why we looked for a board and train for help with things we were not equipped to deal with on our own. Also, one of our dogs that was dog door trained for months prior to training is now peeing all over the house. Very disappointed and feel like we wasted a ton of money that we now no longer have to invest in training that will actually work. But hey, our dogs can heel now. As long as they have on their ecollars and aren’t in a distracting space, that is.
Sent both of my dogs, Wiggles and Cuddles, for training. They are rescues and are smart but very stubborn dogs. Pat did an amazing job with them. They no longer drag me down the street on walks. They don't jump on people anymore and almost never bark. It feels like I have new dogs. Thank you Pat for the amazing job!
