Pat truly goes above and beyond. After losing my first service dog out of the blue (😢), he helped train my current service dog within around 3 months. He and another trainer trained him so thoroughly that it was a perfect fit. Moreover, he went above and beyond finding Diesel’s past vet/vaccination records so I could have all the documents necessary for our trip to Oahu. No matter the question or time, he’s always glad to answer any/every question I can think of. There are a lot of people becoming or stating that they are dog trainers these days but Pat has experience, and you cannot top his. Which is how his training abilities are so versatile. Whether service dog training, behavioral issues, or basic obedience training, he does it all, thoroughly, gladly, despite how much work it all entails. He takes on these dogs as if they were his own and cares for them as such. Whereas some trainers get irritated by frequent questions or just don’t respond ever, he never does, and always does, asap, respectively. His genuine dedication to helping dogs and their humans mesh as a pack/s, whether needing help with service dog training, puppies needing basic obedience, or dogs needing other problematic behavior modifications, you will not only not regret choosing Pat’s K9 training, youll be writing a great review, too. I want to address some of these negative reviews. Sadly, if something goes wrong once home (after the board and train program), it’s easy to blame the trainer, especially if you don’t follow instructions for whatever reasons, don’t check back in, or just expect to do no work at all. Even the very best trainers like Pat require client participation for overall success. If you don’t keep up with what your dog has learned, you will not see the results that Pat got in the board & train. Pat offers lifetime follow-up (which you cannot beat AT ALL) for this very reason. If you are waffling on which trainer to choose, waffle no more. Pat delivers and truly cares. As you can see in these photos, Pat’s training & task-training of Diesel is what made all of these moments possible, Diesel’s tasks and focus are spot-on. My maintaining of his stellar training is forever, but it’s not only worth the maintenance training, the maintenance training is fun for Diesel and I, it’s an amazing opportunity to bond and further your relationship with your dog!

Pat is the second (and now last!) dog trainer I had after the first one was not able to tame my dog. Benny spent less than 2 weeks with Pat and came back a much better dog! He still has his moments, but his training techniques work wonders with my crazy pup! Whenever Benny starts to have issues Pat responds quickly with tips and even will come over to help and correct the unwanted behaviors if we need it. The lifetime warranty is a huge plus. I also love boarding my dog with Pat, I know he is always safe and well taken care of allowing me to be stress free when I am away.
