Parker's K9 Academy

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 STARS to Parker’s K-9 Academy! We sent our two dogs Ruby (a 4-year-old Springer Spaniel) and Jojo (a 3-year-old King Charles Cavalier) for the 2-week board and train program. From our first conversation with Parker we knew we had made the right choice and that it was going to be a good fit. When we met in person those feelings were confirmed. He is very friendly and genuine, and most importantly, good with dogs. You can really tell he genuinely cares about the dogs. He sent photo and video updates during the first week. We were so surprised the training they had already learned. We did an in-person training with him and the dogs one week in, and again after two weeks during pickup. Our dogs needed training badly… they barked at everything… the tv, delivery men, the doorbell, passersby. They had no recall. They didn’t understand no. The would pull on the leash. After only 2 weeks, all this behavior is gone. Parker gave us the training and tools we needed to, so we could continue at home. The best investment ever!!!! I highly recommend Parker.

Parker noticed our dog had a ton of anxiety walking with us at the park and approached us to offer his training. His pricing is very fair for the results you are going to get. When we picked up our dog Pocky, 2 weeks later her behavior was extraordinary! No more pulling, calm around other dogs, and calm in the car unlike before. Parker does a good job at explaining everything he’s done with your dog and how you’re supposed to maintain the good behavior at home. Parker also provided us with all of the gear it took to train Pocky, including the E-Collar, place bed, and walking leash. I would recommend this place to all dog owners

I could not recommend Parker enough! Our dog Hazel came to him at 6 months and to be totally honest, was a little crazy. Parker was AMAZING with her -- When we got her back, she was a totally different dog in the best way possible. When guests come over, we tell her to go to her "place" and she'll stay there until we tell her to "break!" Walking with her is now a completely different experience as she walks right alongside us. Best money we have spent in a long time... If you have a dog with any behavior issues or simply needs the basics, Parker is your guy! After his training, we then used him for boarding. Our dog Hazel absolutely loves him and we will be sure to use him for most of our vacations!!

We had an incredible experience with Parker’s board and train program. We sent our 6-month-old puppy to him for two weeks, and the results exceeded our expectations. Parker is communicative, professional, and clearly loves the dogs he works with. It’s obvious he truly understands canine behavior and training. Our puppy didn’t have any major behavior issues, but she wouldn’t reliably come when called, which meant she couldn’t safely be off leash or fully socialize because she wouldn’t return. Walks were also frustrating — she pulled, zig-zagged, and was just all over the place. Parker gave her exactly what she needed: guidance, consistency, and clear expectations. When she came home, her recall was dramatically improved, walks were calm and enjoyable, and she had the structure and confidence she was missing before. He not only trained our puppy — he helped us feel equipped to continue that structure at home. We are so grateful and would absolutely recommend Parker to anyone looking for thoughtful, effective training.

The time our dog spent with Parker was truly life changing for her and for us! She is a strong-willed, smart pup and there were things we just couldn't figured out on our own that he was able to help her (and us!) learn which have made our daily life such a joy. We can now safely walk her, trust her recall in all sorts of situations, keep her calm and still around new people and other dogs, and so much more. I never worried about her while she was in his care. We were kept up-to-date with lots of pictures and helpful tips via text, and got to visit and learn with her along the way. He is clear, direct, kind, responsive, and never made us feel judged for not knowing how to teach certain things on our own or for doing something "wrong" before she came to training. Anytime anyone I know mentions possibly needing training for their dog, I almost scream "YOU NEED TO WORK WITH PARKER!". We just brought another pup home and he will be going straight to him for training the second he is old enough! We will also only ever board our pups with him going forward. Thank you, Parker, you are truly incredible at what you do! Update: I thought I could add a new review, but looks like I can only edit existing so here goes... Back in Oct., it was time for our newest puppy to get his time with Parker. He went in as a crazy ball of puppy who needed structure to thrive and came back a calmer and more confident version of himself with skills that allow us to manage a dog that gets bigger every day while maintaining his playful and curious personality. His sister got to join him for the second week of training too so they could learn to walk in tandem, have a bit of a refresh for her, and so we could take a little vacation. Once again, it was an excellent experience and we continue to be SO GRATEFUL to Parker for the love and care he puts into his training program. The results are life-changing, we get the education we need to help our pups remain successful, and we never have to worry about them when they are in his care. We will continue to recommend Parker to every person we know who needs training for their pups without hesitation!
