Parker's K9 Academy

Parker’s K9 Academy provided an exceptional experience for us. Parker is an extraordinary dog whisperer! Our seven-year-old golden doodle had several behavioral issues, including pulling on walks, selectively following commands, becoming anxious in the car (which was challenging for everyone in the car), and being fearful in a kennel. After two weeks of training, our dog has become happier and well-trained. Parker dedicated a significant amount of time to us, ensuring that we comprehended our dog’s needs and could consistently adhere to the training regimen. He made the process incredibly easy. Parker genuinely cares about the dogs he trains. He followed up to check on our pup’s progress and offered support whenever necessary. He is truly exceptional! We should have enrolled our dog in this program years ago!

We cannot recommend this trainer enough! We boarded our extremely reactive German Shepherd to both people and other dogs. We honestly didn’t think such a dramatic change would be possible, but the results exceeded all of our expectations. He is now calm, well-behaved, and can go on walks without reacting to people or animals. The transformation has been incredible. What impressed us most is that the training didn’t stop with our dog—he took the time to teach our entire family how to properly handle him, structure playtime, and consistently correct unwanted behaviors. Those lessons have made all the difference in maintaining his progress at home. We are beyond impressed with the professionalism, communication, and results. We completely trust him with our dog and will absolutely use his boarding services again whenever we’re out of town. If you’re on the fence, don’t hesitate—you won’t regret it!

I knew how sweet and loving our Golden Shepard puppy Harley wa going to be, but big. She's also very intelligent so I decided quality training was the best option. Within the first 5 minutes of meeting with Parker I felt 100% comfortable leaving my puppy. We got hey back and she was still all the sweet puppy, but calmer and more confident. The recall gives us such comfort knowing that she will come right over no matter what. With continued training I'm able to take her anywhere in almost any situation and she's great. The leash is just for other people's sake at this point. Completely different world having the ability to take her out into it!

We have a very stubborn 6 year old cockapoo. Parker was well disciplined and incredibly loving toward our dog. So many friends and family members insisted we wouldn’t be able to train a dog his age, but that wasn’t the case at all. Parker spent two weeks training with our cockapoo, then he began training us on how to continue the desired behaviors. I highly recommend Parker to anyone who needs to see real improvements in their fur baby. We couldn’t be happier!

Parker recently trained our 6-month-old Cavapoo, June. She’s a very affectionate dog, but we struggled with teaching her to relax and calm down. We felt we needed to constantly be with her and were endlessly exercising her, which wasn’t a sustainable way to operate. We had also lost her a couple of times due to a gap in our backyard fence and had no tools for recall. Parker trained Junie on recall, staying in the house when a door opened, and relaxing after play or walk sessions. He also trained June to walk calmly next to me so that we can eventually take her out into public settings. I know she’ll eventually be a great companion when we want to be out and about. It’s obvious Parker loves dogs and is very concerned about their well-being. He gave my husband and me so much freedom back and also gave us the training to effectively maintain and grow her obedience skills. June is doing great relaxing on her place bed and seems calmer by the week. Car rides are more pleasant and I’m getting more of my housework accomplished. The recall success we’ve had is making backyard play much more enjoyable for everyone; Junie’s our new outfielder in our family baseball game. Parker’s board-and-train program has been such an enhancement to our family’s life.
