My sister highly recommended Paramount Dog Training when I got a German Shepherd puppy; she had used them with her past German Shepherds. I have only had rescue shepherds in the past and was not familiar with how to train a puppy. I had taken her elsewhere for basic puppy classes and then transitioned to Paramount. I received some individual training sessions with both Mel (owner) and Alec (one of the trainers) for reactivity to children and to traffic noises. I also attend the weekly Distraction classes, which are an excellent source of training for the dog as well as owner. All three trainers, Mel, Alec, and Topaz, provide great guidance and teaching regarding our various dogs and issues. It is a pleasure to take Sasha out for walks; she is so well behaved and non-reactive to other dogs, people, or loud noises. I have also brought her to the Scent training class and Therapy class ... she LOVED the scent training! I would highly recommend Paramount for anyone who is a new or returning owner. The fees are reasonable and you only pay as you attend. Last, probably because we are all dog lovers, it has turned out to be a wonderful source of socialization not just for Sasha, but also for me!

I highly recommend Paramount Dog Trianing. We adopted a stray 1.5 year old male Doberman in January 2025. We could tell he had no previous training, knew no commands and had no leash experince. Despite that, he was the sweetest dog in the world and we knew he had great potential. The trainers at Paramount are kind, gentle and excellent teachers to both dogs and owners. After only a few sessions with Paramount Ace knows several commands and is great on a leash. I love to walk and can take him anywhere now thanks to their training. I would also like to add that Paramount’s fees are extremely reasonable and you pay as you go which is so helpful. Thank you to Mel, Alec and their team for giving me my dream dog. -Lori Fox
Amazed at how well our dog Princess responded to the individual training lesson. She has also participated in several distraction lessons which definitely helps to socialize your dog when put in an environment that they are not familiar. Would highly recommend bringing your dog to Paramount as Mel and his team are fantastic in how they handle our canine companions.
