FirstBarkGina is a fantastic trainer and I would trust her with any of my dogs as a boarder as well. She helped us with a rescue that was reactive, and now we see her with our puppy. Training is fun, to the point and honors the dog and the owner. I recommend her to anyone I talk to.

Gina has been fundamental in my dogs progression in bite sports. She is a fountain of knowledge when it comes to IGP and dog handling, and is absolutely a key factor in my dog getting her BH title late last year. We've only been working together for about 6 months but the progress has been dramatic, and I look forward to each session. Gina is exceptional at teaching the human as well, which is great for me since this is my first sport dog and I have so much to learn about handling. I would recommend her to anyone looking to expand their skills in bitesport.
love love love training here. Been working with gina for ~3 months and its insane how much progress we have made in that amount of time. Gina prioritizes clarity to your dog and relationship. It’s far too easy for trainers to just say to correct your dog for everything, Gina is definitely not like that! I cannot recommend Pacwestk9 highly enough. I brought my rescue dog, Jax — a Great Dane/Belgian Malinois mix — to work with trainer Gina, not knowing what to expect given his background and breed combination. What followed exceeded every expectation I had. Gina's expertise in obedience training is exceptional. She has a remarkable ability to read a dog's temperament and tailor her approach accordingly. With Jax, she established structure and reliability in his obedience work that I honestly didn't think was possible when we first started. What truly set the experience apart was Gina's work introducing Jax to bitework. As a rescue, I was uncertain whether he would ever take to it — but under her guidance, he has not only embraced the work, he thrives in it. Her knowledge of working dog disciplines is clearly deep and well-practiced. Great experience overall. We took our reactive dog to Gina and did a month of board and train. He came back a completely different dog. On and off leash his behavior has substantially improved. He doesn’t lunge or bark at random dogs or strangers. My daughter can approach him, she even attempts to give him commands. 3 months ago if you had told me that we would be able to take him to a bark in the park at T Mobile I wouldn’t have believed you, but he was easily one of the best behaved dogs there.
