Pat’s approach to dog rehabilitation focuses primarily on the dog owners. Why? Dogs feed off of the owners energy (emotional state) as their primary method of understanding, respecting and trusting humans.
If a dog senses any kind of emotional instability (such as nervousness, anxiety, frustration, anger, etc.), they will assume that you are weak and not in control of the situation. Therefore, the dog will not trust or follow you and will assert itself to become the pack leader.
Pat can recognize a person’s energy and body language and therefore he provides guidance on how to adjust thoughts, feelings and behaviors in order to become an effective leader. He also provides recommendations and adjustments for daily rituals along with the kno

Pat is very knowledgeable, calm and patient. He has taught us first and foremost that it is the humans that need to be trained and not the dogs! He is teaching us how to communicate with our 8 Month old Bulldog mix who is very energetic and can be stubborn. Our walks have gone from my 53 lb pup dragging me down the street to calm and controlled walks. He has taught us how to address his energy and how best to use leash techniques to teach our pup the proper way to walk and adhere to commands. Most importantly, he has demonstrated that progress over perfection and consistency is key! I would highly recommend Pat’s services for anyone seeking help for their dogs’ behaviors.

Pat is someone Who lends his expertise to our rescue adopters and fosters. I have fosters reach out to Him for advice with their foster dogs or their own dogs. He is VERY knowledgeable and courteous. I HIGHLY recommend him and his service. If you need help with your pup do not hesitate to contact him you surely won’t regret it.

I just started using Pat a little over a week ago. When I called and spoke to him he was open ears and made sure he made time to listen and hear my situation out. Not only were we on the phone for over an hour he assured me my situation with my doxie mix was not going to be a difficult issue to fix! I’m a dog trainer myself but I don’t practice dog behavior I just studied obedience and I was grateful to learn new techniques that would help my pup but also help my knowledge! He’s a no BS guy but isn’t rude about it. He put me in my place when I needed it but he did respectfully which gave me high respect for him on a professional level. It’s been a little over a week and he took my last minute call for help on a situation which he guided me on and it worked so well! His techniques seem to work so well for my Jaxon and I would highly recommend him to anyone who needs assistance!
