Steve came out to our house on a Saturday and to say that we were somewhat overwhelmed at the amount of information is an understatement. Steve is very thorough and offered so much informative to us regarding 1 of our 3 dogs. The back story is that we had 2 older dogs (now 13 & 12) and know that eventually one of them will pass before the other. We don't want the other one to be too lonely looking for her friend so we opted last summer to adopt a 5 month old puppy named Mia. Mia is now 1 and when we attempted to get her the basic training at our local petsmart, we were instead met with "Mia is aggressive and because she isn't listening to you we can't accept having her in our class." Needless to say Mia is NOT aggressive and unbeknownst to me, needed more socialization than she had to be in a group setting. I and my husband explained that we were under the impression that the class was for beginners which was confirmed, but the decision had been made by the so called almost 20 years of experience trainer that she couldn't be there. Upon hearing this we were wondering how this person could be considered a dog trainer. Needless to say, I was very upset and a friend of mine who is out of state jumped online to help me find somebody who could help us train our dog. After all, if we knew what we were doing we wouldn't have been at petsmart in the first place. Now that we are caught up Steve has taught us how to train our dog to the point that I'm confident in what I've learned to take the initiative and teach my dog myself. Truly, Steve is a blessing because he doesn't only offer the option to just train your dog for you. He teaches you how to train your own dog. This is the best option in my opinion because you know your dog best and your dog is more willing to make you it's master happy. From now on if anyone asks where to get their dog training I'm totally going to inform them of how much they will get from Steve. Honestly, I'm surprised that more people don't know about him. Thank you so much Steve!

I called Steve about an extremely fearful dog I have. I adopted the dog from far away, he was driven over 800 miles to me so I didn't know his personality. He bit the driver and was too afraid to come out of his crate. I really needed some help,my only other choice would be to have animal control come get him. He was so scared he was growling and barking and wouldn't let anyone near him. I called Steve he was compassionate and very knowledgeable. We spent over an hour talking about what to do exactly and how to manage this fearful guy. Steve went over every step carefully because he knew the weight of this problem. As a dogs life held in limbo and the future safety of my family. Steve was able to give me the confidence I needed to reconsider taming him and do it safely as possible. I really appreciate his genuine care and guidance. I would recommend him to help you with fear aggression in dogs, as it takes a lot of heart and kind strength to be able to get through these cases which Steve defiantly has. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts Steve, you really saved us.
