Sarah-Anne is a GEM! When I hired her for dog training sessions, she not only helped me with my dogs, but also with many of my other animals. Worth every penny and more. One of the biggest issues I had with my dogs was when visitors would come into the house/on the property. Sarah-Anne gave me guidance and structure, and it has had such a positive impact on my dogs' behavior. I don't feel overwhelmed when guests come over like I used to and my dogs are so much calmer and respectful of boundaries. One of the things I loved most about working with Sarah-Anne, is that she really sees the dog/animal for who they are and gives individualized guidance for how to specifically help that particular animal. My dogs are a bit different and Sarah-Anne had no trouble seeing that and giving guidance accordingly. I also got so much out of Sarah-Anne's animal communication work. I have three cats who don't all get along. Sarah-Anne shared with me the things that they all needed for a more harmonious relationship. After I implemented her suggestions, I was shocked to see the difference in their behavior. Really amazing. Sarah-Anne also brought me a lot of comfort and clarity when one of my goats died. She used her skill of animal communication to share messages with me from my sweet goat. It was really helpful in my grieving process.

We knew when we got our puppy Shasta, we wanted to have a trainer who could work with us and our puppy together. We chose Sarah Anne for her disciplined and also kind style of training. This has been very important for our very sweet and very smart puppy. Although Sarah Anne's training strategies take a slightly different approach from many of the dog trainers I've worked with, we have been thrilled at the way Shasta is maturing. Her ability to pay attention, cooperate, make good decisions (mostly overriding her puppy brain), bond well with us, our family and friends, play beautifully with other dogs of all ages and temperaments.. it's all a great tribute to the consistent, early work with did with Sarah Anne @ Pack Dynamics. We use the tools she taught us every day.

We love Pack Dynamics and Sarah-Anne! Our dog, Sofia, would easily stress out and redirect her stress by biting other pack members. Over time we practiced Sarah-Anne’s suggestions, and when they began to bring calm into her life Sofia started to relax. And as she relaxed, the scary behavior disappeared. The key insight we learned is that when we bring our frustration and anxiety (that kind of energy) to our dogs, they feel that, and likewise become anxious and fearful too. Sarah-Anne helped us to see that being a pet parent means that we accept that our energy absolutely influences our dogs behavior; and that if we want our dogs to learn to not jump, stay off the couch, respect our space, and (most importantly to us) relax, then instead of blaming the dog, we need to take a look at our own energy first. We’ve also learned that our dogs need us to be pack leaders, and the only way to get there is to learn how to be calm even when they are not. When we’re calm, our dogs can trust that we have things handled. This is when we become the pack leaders they need us to be. Fluent in Canine is a new language, and one well worth learning.
