Brooks has completely transformed our life and our relationship with our two somewhat-reactive dogs. Before training, even basic outings felt stressful, but now we can take them anywhere with confidence. He helped us reinforce the basics they already knew, while also learning heel, place, stay, and other advanced skills. I think what really sets Brooks apart is his approach. He doesn’t just teach dogs “tricks”, he empowers owners. His training is tailored to helping us understand our dogs, communicate with them, and continue the progress at home. It has made the biggest difference, and we are so appreciative for him and the skills he taught us. Woodrow and Franklin will be furever grateful. Highly recommend!

We could not imagine a more competent or better dog trainer than Brooks. Our family picked up a very sweet (but HUGE!) puppy back in March, and we immediately began training her weekly with Brooks. His approach is awesome—he's as much training the people as he is the dog. It was evident to us right away the breadth of Brooks' knowledge. He is a total professional. Unlike dog trainers that board your dog, train it, and then hand it back with very little instruction (which results in a massive depreciation of skills and is, in our opinion, an absolute rip-off), Brooks patiently instructed us on how to properly manage this dog while also holding us very accountable. With Brooks, you build on this consistency each week, and he is always there to support in between sessions when we had questions come up. We still have a lot to learn, but the hard work is really paying off; our puppy is lightyears ahead of where we imagined she would be at this point, particularly out in public. We are eager and excited to continue her training with Brooks, and we absolutely know that this was money well spent. Whether you have a brand new pup or an older dog, we'd highly recommend Brooks.
