Pacific Northwest K9 Training

We went through it with our dog Scout. He’s a 1.5 year old golden lab mix we rescued. At first he seemed really happy and chill but that quickly turned as he had food aggression to our smaller dog, severe separation anxiety, leash reactivity, and just overall anxious and zero confidence. As vet bills, and crate bills (he chewed through 3 indestructible ones), and training rose quickly in cost we thought we had to give up. We called the shelter to return him but they were full, and the trainer we were already working with said he was a good dog and trainable but that the shelter probably would set him up for failure. I happened to come across Pacific Northwest K9 and had several very tearful phone calls. We came up with a plan and got Scout into their 3 week board and train. He is a different dog now. No more aggression towards our older dog, no more destroying the house when we leave, happy instead of anxious on walks, and not reactive towards other dogs and people. He doesn’t bolt anymore when I open the door, he goes to place and waits. We are still working on leash manners but he pees on walks and also isn’t growling or nervous whining anymore which shows how much more confident he is. We are so incredibly grateful for the work they put in with him. We absolutely love this dog and are so happy we can be the family we wanted to be for him. 10/10 recommend.

My dad is 96 and has a Chihuahua that was not potty trained and barked constantly and would bite at people. Dad needed to move into an assisted living and Rosie needed to adapt to that type of living. It looked like an impossible task to me. But a friend told me about Taylor and after one month of training Rosie came back a pleasant well trained dog. She potties on command, the barking and biting have stopped. Rosie is now a superstar living in a facility with dad. I didn’t think it could be done. We are so happy!!

I enrolled my dog in their boarding and training program, and they were absolutely fantastic. They provided valuable assistance in addressing my dog's issues with jumping and leash pulling. The trainers were patient, knowledgeable, and truly cared about helping my dog improve his behavior. After the program, I noticed a significant difference in my dog's behavior – he was calmer, more obedient, and no longer had issues with jumping or pulling on the leash. I highly recommend their boarding and training program to anyone looking to improve their dog's behavior and strengthen the bond between them. I knew we needed help with our Doberman/ shepherd mix. She is one of five dogs we have and I could easily get overwhelmed. I was nervous at first dropping her off but Tim and Taylor were so reassuring. Taylor kept the communications open and shared pictures with me. Tim is so calming and works so well with the dogs. I needed training as much as my dog did (maybe more). Everything he said made perfect sense. Now I know it’s possible to have some control and respect from my dogs. We are all happier. I truly appreciate all their efforts and think they are doing a fantastic job I highly recommend them.
