P 3 canine training and obedience

P 3 Canine Training and Obedience changed our lives. My wife and I decided to get a golden retriever puppy over a year ago but felt lost when it came to training. Ryan offered training for Bailey, training for us, and overall improved the dynamic and life that we have with our dog Bailey. He is genuinely committed to Bailey’s overall growth and is transparent about what is best for her. He genuinely loves dogs and you can feel that during the training. Overall, this entire experience surpassed our expectations. We intend to continue working with P 3 Canine Training and Obedience for Bailey and any other pups we decide to get going forward. The work P 3 Canine Training and Obedience does improves the lives of the owners, but most importantly it improves the lives of the dogs we love.

I can’t thank Ryan enough for everything he has done for my dog, Mack! You can see the patience and love that Ryan has for these animals, just after the first time meeting him my dog was comfortable being around him and learning from him! He wants these pups to succeed! After all of our sessions, Mack has calmed down and is able to use what we learned on a daily basis! Everything that both of us learned was what we needed and Ryan didn’t rush the process of that or force my pup into something he wasn’t ready for! I’m looking forward to reaching out to Ryan in the future for more advanced training! I am not new to dogs. My family had always had dogs growing up and as teenagers my siblings and I each got a puppy to train from start to finish that we each cared for until they passed. That being said, within two weeks of getting a 9ish month old rescue, Ginny, last fall I was at my wits end! I have never had a dog with so much energy or who jumped and nipped so much! Not to mention training a dog with 3 kids under 10 at home is no easy feat. I immediately started looking for someone to help. I knew I needed to learn how to train her as much as she needed to be trained. When Ryan came out to evaluate Ginny his ability to immediately gain her attention and build a rapport with her sold me. All that while my kids were running around playing and he was answering my questions. Through the entire training process he didn’t view my kids as a nuisance as they were always eager to watch. He used it as an opportunity to help Ginny learn to focus and obey commands in the setting she would be exposed to in our home everyday. I shadowed Ryan and asked questions as he worked with Ginny and then I put into practice everything he taught her and worked on training her in between sessions. At one point I was so frustrated I called him nearly in tears that Ginny’s behaviors were making me anxious and he helped me work out a game plan over the phone that brought to light the fact that I was so focused on training I was missing the bonding piece. From that time on I added a play session after training her and that was our turning point. We have now completed our 8 sessions and while we still have things to work on as Ginny is still a puppy and needs time and patience to continue her training, Ryan has helped build the foundation we need to continue. As we continue our training we aren’t left to alone when we hit a rough patch. Ryan has asked us to check in with him and ask any questions we have as things come up so he can help trouble shoot any snags along the way. If you are looking for someone to help you train your dog I highly recommend Ryan! He is going to not just teach your dog, but teach you how to teach your dog. It takes work on your end, but I promise you will be happy with what both you and your dog have learned!
