Ozark Canine Academy

Ozark Canine Academy is the place to go for boarding and training your dogs. The owner and head trainer Mike is the real deal. He trained dogs at the highest level as an Army Ranger within the United States Army Special Operations Command. One of the greatest things about Mike is his honesty and ability to set realistic expectations for you and your dog. I've found that other training companies tend to tell you what you want to hear in order to sell you their service. Many of these other companies hire hourly employees to train your dog but Ozark Canine Academy does it differently. Mike personally trains your dog and is completely hands on. If you need your dog trained, don't hesitate to call Mike. He's the best in the business!

I called the gentleman answered the phone and to just myself tell them that I have a 1-year-old that I need training for and I read the reviews he told me that he couldn't talk right now because he had a beautiful 357 in his hands and that once he gets done give him about 20 minutes to a half an hour and he'll call me back I never received a return call the rest of the afternoon and evening called again the next day left a voice message and never heard from the man. So I guess taking care of his beautiful 357 was more important than helping to train a 1-year-old puppy.

Sent my Goldendoodle here. Two days after we took her he called and told us we had to come and get her because she was too aggressive and was baring her teeth at him. Our dog has never been aggressive with us, not once. We have children and other than needing to calm down because she is still young, she has never done ANYTHING that would make me think she was being aggressive. I have a son with special needs and if that was the case I would not let her around him. He lays on her and pets her and she has never tried to harm him. We did get a full refund on our money, including the non-refundable deposit. I contacted another trainer who said he would be happy to work with her but because of his distance from us we decided to train her in our own.
