I post this as the older dog owner who's life is closely focused on my dogs. I'm on my 4th Doberman and thought I knew lots. In 2022 I bring home Gorgeous Miss Reactivity. 80 lbs of scary lunging at anything that moves on leash. My first trainer helped me with some basics , but the reactivity still making enjoyable outside activities impossible. After spending a fortune on training, watching 1000's of YouTube videos-- 5 other trainers ( yes 5) I was starting to surrender to just living around her reactivity.
