All of the trainers and staff truly care about your dog and are willing to go out of their way to help you. They are very experienced and knowledgeable! I believe that even the best-behaved dogs will benefit from classes like these!

We have been working with Overdale on dogs for over a decade, training, boarding and grooming. They are incredibly knowledgeable, patient and attentive. They have been my go-to for training issues for my personal dogs and foster dogs. They don't just train the dog, but they train you how to train the dog, which is critical to success over time.

I’d give Overdale Kennel 1,000 stars if I could. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ They are wonderful people, excellent trainers, have top notch customer service, love dogs and help you to understand your dog and troubleshoot problem behavior. Our rescued husky mix has gone through two different training sessions there, and it did him (and us) a world of good. He loves going to daycare and boarding to spend time being with and playing with his buddies and comes back happy and tired. It’s a dog’s life at Overdale!

We have been going to Overdale now for just over a year. Originally found them for boarding when we have long trips as well as doing obedience training for a new pup. Prices are reasonable, especially for boarding if you have multiple dogs who are ok with sharing a run. As for training they have a lot of options starting with new puppies, and advancing through upper level obedience, Canine Good Citizen, agility, rear end, rally and others. The trainers demonstrate great knowledge of all facets, taking a no nonsense approach to positive reinforcement, and great at reading dogs, knowing who's the troublemakers, and when they're about to start it! They are great at sharing information and suggestions through training, anecdotes of past experience, and will make recommendations based on the dog and his/her learning level on what classes would fit for them should you want to do more than basic obedience. Overall highly recommended if you live in the area as a local trainer, and for boarding. It's always hard dropping off at a new boarding place, but if its somewhere your dog has been to for training, it just makes it a bit easier.

Overdale Kennel has been in Obi’s life since he was a pup.He took puppy classes, his Canine Good Citizen's course now agility. Obi has had the whole family for instructors and loves them all. As can be told the moment we pull into the Overdale driveway and he starts crying with excitement. Obi loves to be groomed by Kelsey right there at Overdale and then we stay and run agility class. This winter we tried something new trick dog class. Overdale offers so many options and will have many more when their new facility is open. The biggest and best sign when I left Obi for boarding and came back to pick him up he wasn’t even happy to see me. It made me sad but happy to know he loved it there. I highly recommend the great training, grooming and boarding at Overdale!❤️
