Overdale Kennel, LLC

Overdale has been a part of Trapper's world for the past 13 years. He has achieved Obedience, Canine Good Citizen, Agility, Rear end Awareness, Rally and lifetime friends. He began classes and a groom the first week after I adopted him. I watched him gain his confidence and change from obeying commands out of fear to to developing self confidence and a mind of his own, humbling me, more than once, on the Agility course. Val and Hillary's expertise in reading dog behavior is such a positive experience for both students - dog and owner. This is a win-win! Although Trapper is no longer attending classes, he's in his retirement years (like me), he still visits Kelsey for grooming and always gets compliments on his ears. We would not be the team that we are if it wasn't for Overdale.

Val and Hillary are an absolute Godsend! I had gotten a German Shepherd puppy and a bit later took in a rescue Lab. It was a nightmare that the Lab ended up with stitches from the GSD and I didn't think I could keep either of them. My Vet said they both needed some serious training to be decent dogs. I found Overdale Kennel and Val saved us all. Val has amazing expertise and patience and not only did she get the dogs in shape, she trained me to be the pack leader. Both dogs got their Advanced Good Canine Citizen awards, and even with three rescue kitties we are all living in harmony! This was only made possible by Overdale Kennel! This also brings so much peace of mind boarding the dogs there, even for up to two weeks. Hopefully plan on getting a new GSD puppy by the end of the year and will definitely be a returning student!
