Over the Moon Positive Dog Training, LLC

We have a rescue foster-fail who has anxiety (to say the least) that was a stray from CACC. When looking into training classes/centers I really looked carefully into the methods and philosophies of several places before finding OTM and I am so very happy we found them! We’ve done both 1:1 training and a group class. In the 1:1 sessions Anna-Lisa was amazing at helping us read our dog’s body language and anticipate her reactions based on her fears and then helping us shape our training so that our dog could grow in confidence and skills. The group class was great in that it kept that positive momentum going and was another wealth of info about dog thinking and how to shape dog behavior using positive training methods (no threats, choke chains, prong collars). It’s sadly surprising how many places still use these methods. We’ve loved our experience with OTM because of the confidence it’s given our dog. She’s still growing and learning but she’s come so far! Thank you OTM!

I think we've taken pretty much every class offered by Over the Moon between our 2 dogs over the past 2.5 years! We absolutely love them and every trainer we've had has been fantastic. We started with our older dog and took her all the way from puppy playtime to the CGC class. She's now a therapy dog and I know it's thanks to Over the Moon that she is so well trained. Our younger dog presents unique challenges, as she is extremely anxious and reactive. We've taken her through all the levels of training as well, and have even done some individual work with both Ashley and Anna Lisa. She is able to function and behave at the level she does because of Over the Moon. She'll never be a therapy dog due to her personality, but she's a good dog in spite of her issues. And a lot of that is because of the training we've received over the years from Over The Moon. Obviously we are very happy with this group and will continue taking our dogs to the various classes they offer. Thank you, Over the Moon!!
