Outrider Dogs

Where to start? Rescuing, fostering, training, this organization is the real deal through and through. Fair, patient, courteous, creative,attentive just a few of the words to describe my experience with the training i witnessed from my home session with Ben , I’ve become personally acquainted with many of the other trainers and staff as well and it’s pretty remarkable how much you can see how passionate and kind each of them are .Whether you’re looking to foster, adopt, or in need of short or long term training these folks have it covered, reliable, transparent and communicative at every facet of their services, they also offer training groups , classes, and events at their facility, cant say enough good things about everyone involved with outrider dogs.

Ben is a wonderful trainer. He has the patience of a saint! He taught me a lot. Bailey doesn’t lunge at cars anymore when we are walking which makes walks much more enjoyable. Other things we still need to work on but overall things are much better. Now I just have to have patience! I highly recommend Ben and Outrider Dogs. I hope to start Bailey in agility with Lexi. I hear she is wonderful as well. Thank you Ben.

Several months ago we got a sweet and adorable rottweiler puppy and out of fear of parvo waited to expose her to anything beyond our yard and guests we knew until she had completed her vaccinations. We knew we were behind the curve with socialization and to ensure we got her trained and properly socialized with other dogs we enrolled her in training at another facility. While we were happy with the training, our pup was absolutely terrified at the end of each class when it was time to socialize with the other puppies. Even when approached by dogs smaller than her, she would hide, yelp, run to get behind chairs, etc. I didn't know what to do but to seek additional help. I emailed outriders with questions and outlined my concerns and after some brief back and forth I was contacted by Ben. He put my mind at ease, he listened and understood my concerns and felt very confident in their approach and that they could totally fix the issue. I let Ben know that my girlfriends daughter had a mastiff and a cane corso and if I could just get to a place where our puppy could be comfortable around them, I'd be be happy. At Bens recommendation I began enrolling her at puppy daycare with Lexi and puppy socialization with ben and Lexi on Saturday mornings and the difference was seen immediately. By the end of her first day she had already started playing with some of the smaller dogs. Now less than 2 months later she is a completely different pup around other dogs. She wags her tail and immediately wants to play. This week we brought her to my girlfriends daughter's house 3 times and she has been running around with the other dogs and playing with zero fear. I cannot thank Ben, Lexi, and the rest of the staff at outriders enough. They know their stuff inside and out, their prices are reasonable and affordable and they truly care. I HIGHLY recommend them to anybody who is considering them. You can't go wrong. Thank you guys so much for your help with Remy, for your patience with me and my concerns, and for helping us get past this major hurdle. I can see why you are so highly rated and wanted to add one more satisfied review to the business. Thank you again!
