Outrider Dogs

Our last dog was a rottie who we rescued as an adult--we were told she came from an apartment and had probably not been socialized or exposed to much. We loved her very much, but her issues were challenging. After she passed, we decided to get a rottie puppy with the intentions of working hard on socializing and training her right away. I was having a hard time finding somewhere that offered daycare/training for puppies, until I posted on a local Facebook group and several people recommended Outrider--and I am so glad they did! We got our puppy JoJo into daycare and training class ASAP. The last couple weeks of daycare, she did not want to leave! I even had to carry her out one week...embarrassing for me, but just shows how much she loved it. We also brought her to a couple Saturday playgroups, and even utilized dog watching services through Lexi. My husband and I joke that JoJo loves Lexi more than us...only partly joking since it's probably true. We have loved working with Ben and Lexi; it is very evident how passionate they are about what they do and how much they love dogs. I'm sad that JoJo has now aged out of puppy daycare, but we plan to continue our relationship with Outrider by doing the adult training class and even some private training as well. Ben is amazing! He helped us understand the reasons our 1.5yo dog was anxious and gave us strategies we could implement that worked easily in our household. He also helped our large dog from pulling less and now we both enjoy our walks way more! Our dog is more mellow and I still see improvement daily on our walks as we work to permanently implement the changes Ben helped us learn! We are so grateful and would highly recommend Ben to anyone!
