Out of the Bark - Dog & Puppy Training

Dan and Megha are wonderful! My wife and I worked with them this fall to learn how to better train and handle our 3-year-old Husky/German Shepherd mix. Our dog would get extremely aggressive toward other dogs when we took her out on walks, and it made walking her a miserable and stressful experience for us. Dan and Megha taught us techniques and strategies that have worked great -- now we are comfortable walking her and confident in handling her if she starts to show any aggression. My wife and I both feel like we understand our dog's behavior much better, and feel more connected to her through the training. We really enjoyed working with Dan and Megha, we benefited so much from the training and education that they provided, and we recommend them highly!

We started training with Megha when we first got Buddy as a puppy (~8 weeks old). Megha has helped us learn how to communicate with Buddy and reinforce / stay consistent with commands, as well as walked us through all of the ways to socialize Buddy and build his confidence. Megha's guidance has been so beneficial (and it's so awesome that we can text updates and ask questions outside of our 1:1 training sessions) and while Buddy still has his puppy energy, we can see how this training has set the foundation for years to come. Some of the best parts (though there have been many more!) have been watching Megha work with our two children (ages 4 and 7) on how to train Buddy, and we've enjoyed bringing Buddy on the pack walks hosted by Dan and Megha to get Buddy used to being around other dogs (and not needing to play with each one of them). Overall, this has been such a great experience and has made taking care of a puppy so much easier. So glad we found Out of the Bark and have been able to work with Megha on Buddy's development!

We found Out of the Bark after seeing them doing a pack walk at our local park. Dan & Megha are both very knowledgeable and give us great advice to help build our confidence and bond with our dog. Our dog Maze gets so excited when she sees them. We meet all over the city doing training at home, parks, stores, busy downtown streets. We feel really grateful to have found them and feel it’s the best investment you can make, no need to look anywhere else.
